I wanted to like Outer Worlds and Avowed but the writing, especially companion writing were just subpar and didn't hold my interest. Also having CRPG static worlds doesn't work when trying to make Skyrim/Fallout esc 1st person RPGs. Feels less like exploring a world and more like clearing a zone.
