Here, have some more physical media propaganda! Some new releases, and found some cheap used Subsignal albums I need for the set.

CD copies of "Dark Asylum" by Kamelot, "Marrow Deep" by Mastodon, and "Beautiful & Monstrous" and "The Beacons of Somewhere Sometime" both by Subsignal.

Coming off two casual Magic nights with my usual group. Tuesday I managed 3 sneaky wins out of 5 games played, including a Thrumming Stone into 16 Rat Colonies, so hell yeah!

A Thrumming Stone on top of a pile of Rat Colonies in a game of Magic: The Gathering, proving once and for all that I know how to make friends in my thirties.

Should keep up my physical media propaganda. My latest used record store haul. Continuing my acquisition of The Tangent albums. Never heard of Dave Kerzner, but I'm excited to now.

CD copies of "Not as Good as the Book" and "Down and Out in Paris and London" by The Tangent, and Dave Kerzner's "New World" album, purchased at my local used record store, because I am a dinosaur and I refuse to give up my physical media buying ways.

Was I meant to end up here, or did I choose to become a monster?

Photographic proof of me achieving MVP in a game of deadlock with Victor, featuring 34 assists, 11 ability kills, 144k player damage, 85k healing and 14k objective damage. Yeah, that's right I'm bragging my stats in the alt text.

Last book I read went slower than I wanted, but it's finally time to start something new. Raided my dad's collection of Pratchetts a while back and figured I'd treat myself with one I haven't gotten to yet.

A rough and well loved copy of Terry Pratchett's "Feet of Clay" on the day I started reading it.

My nephew found this in the toy box at my parents' place. He keeps asking me what it is and I have no fukin' clue. Figured I'd I'd crowd-source an answer.

I need to pick up the pace, only at 51 for the year so far.

My "last four watched" on Letterboxd as of May 8 2026 showing Better Man (4.5 stars), Resurrection (5 stars), Moonlight (4 stars), and Dead Poets Society (3 stars).

I don't even know how this is possible. I'm pretty sure most people just accidentally play Skyrim these days, right?

110

VZed, Sufficiently Spooked @vzed.bsky.social · 22/03/2026

yeah... this one stings. I could solve this problem today... and yet I know I won't.

100

VZed, Sufficiently Spooked @vzed.bsky.social · 22/03/2026

oh... this is a bit of a departure. I mean I indeed haven't played it, but I'm thinking I have followers who don't even know this game exists. Why would I advertise this game in particular? Perhaps it is indeed a sign of things to come...

100

VZed, Sufficiently Spooked @vzed.bsky.social · 22/03/2026

I've been telling myself "I'mma play this next" for... oh gosh, 11 years now?

211

VZed, Sufficiently Spooked @vzed.bsky.social · 22/03/2026

Yikes, what are we even doing at this point?

321

VZed, Sufficiently Spooked @vzed.bsky.social · 22/03/2026

Aw peas, have I really not played this at all? Like at ALL at all? Even I'm mad at me for this one.

111

VZed, Sufficiently Spooked @vzed.bsky.social · 22/03/2026

Apparently I own this? When the last time I played a GTA game? It's been so long I still think Toronto when I see that abbreviation!

210

VZed, Sufficiently Spooked @vzed.bsky.social · 22/03/2026

Alright, back at it! Yeah, I'm a big Survival Horror guy, why haven't I played this? I should play this!

110

VZed, Sufficiently Spooked @vzed.bsky.social · 21/03/2026

Being a puzzle game guy, I should probably fire this one up soon, eh?

110

VZed, Sufficiently Spooked @vzed.bsky.social · 21/03/2026

Like, say, how about this one? Yeah. Ain't even touched it. Really ought to. But story of this thread, right?

120

VZed, Sufficiently Spooked @vzed.bsky.social · 21/03/2026

Let's start easily enough. Haven't had a chance to get to this yet. Yeah I know, I know, but I'm sure we can find more egregious crimes in my backlog.

120

VZed, Sufficiently Spooked @vzed.bsky.social · 21/03/2026

I mean, I'm real busy today, but let's see how much shame y'all can heap upon me whilst I get stuff done.

VZed, Sufficiently Spooked @vzed.bsky.social · 06/03/2026

Apparently there's a Magic: The Gathering version of the my9games things going around, so of course I had to do that too.

Random Game Saturday: Not the most obscure thing in the world, but I was late to Demon's Souls (like, post-Dark Souls 3). Took to the internet to get this thing... precisely the same week they shut the servers down, almost 7 years to the day ago.

Easy answer is Enzo/Matrix. Really should revisit that show soon just to see how his growth and ultimate disillusionment as the series goes hits me nowadays. Otherwise, it's this guy (and Al)!

The follow through. That's right, I stopped at two different bakeries on the way back. Not all of my purchases made it home.

Three pieces of sour dough toast with jam, a cinnamon knot, and a pot of tea next to a Playstation 3 because I didn't consider framing when I sat down with breakfast.

Bit more narrative in this one. Wish I had shot this on an actual camera.
