OllieTheFoxy @olliethefoxy.bsky.social · 28/09/2026You'd think a billion dollar company touting a new earth destroyer would be able to get contrast/accessibility done right on their new web page??? Clearly not. 100

OllieTheFoxy @olliethefoxy.bsky.social · 21/09/2026I had a strange dream, but this time I was able to identify when waking up, what were the memory traces that were reactivated and incorporated into it. Being sober is a lot of fun actually. 040
OllieTheFoxy @olliethefoxy.bsky.social · 21/09/2026Aaaand that's a wrap for Runescape 3 leagues. My best memory was surprisingly doing PVM with a group against Amascat, despite me never doing PVM before normally. I will miss all the fun in Runescape #leagues-general on discord most of all. 🥺 030
OllieTheFoxy @olliethefoxy.bsky.social · 19/09/202670k!! Still pushing! 4k zammy solo next. #runescape3 #runescape #leagues 010
OllieTheFoxy @olliethefoxy.bsky.social · 12/09/2026I did some *gasp* social bossing in Runescape 3 for the first time ever, and was super anxious, and it involved a voice call with strangers. But it was *gasp* actually completely fine, I even had fun, and the leader was super patient, and did really good call outs. 400 league points I'm proud of. 050
OllieTheFoxy @olliethefoxy.bsky.social · 27/08/202613000 points to Dragon and only about 20 days remaining. I've been avoiding a lot of bossing, even with Lord of Light/Icyenic Faith. Maybe with a ruinous weapon from my 120 dung push, I can start to look into cheesing some of those. Need to do the mazcab raid, but I'm shy and finding a group hard. 010
OllieTheFoxy @olliethefoxy.bsky.social · 07/08/2026Master Quest Cape and Completionist Cape next. Long way to go. 010
OllieTheFoxy @olliethefoxy.bsky.social · 26/07/2026Back into RuneScape 3, and omggg, Eclipse of the Heart was incredible. Ambitious tech, a GREAT story (made me cry), and lovely cutscene framing composition too. I’ll miss our dysfunctional divine family of the desert, for now. 😂 @dianashrike.bsky.social, Mod Zura and team, you nailed it!!! 040
OllieTheFoxy @olliethefoxy.bsky.social · 18/07/2026I got back into RuneScape 3 and I'm having a blast. Working on necromancy to get my max cape back, then gonna try get into bossing, as I never tried that much before, and necro helps make it a bit easier for me. 010
OllieTheFoxy @olliethefoxy.bsky.social · 13/07/2026I remember playing runescape like 16 years ago, and teenage me giving relationship advice to some person going through a rough divorce or something, while we were both killing gargoyles. 010
OllieTheFoxy @olliethefoxy.bsky.social · 05/07/202640 days sober now. My fave cold drinks to replace alcohol are: - Lucozade (the big bottles) - Kombucha (the 2L bottles you can get) Also really helps reduce cravings - Diet/Low calorie Ginger Beer/Ale - Fizzy water (with cordial) 170
OllieTheFoxy @olliethefoxy.bsky.social · 24/06/2026I didn't think I'd like House of the Dragon, but it slaps. I'm really into it. I'm still on season 1, and it reminds me of the earlier seasons of GoT. Lots of politics and people glaring at each other from across the room. 010

OllieTheFoxy @olliethefoxy.bsky.social · 25/05/2026LeonFoxy is such a good host for the CFz dance competition. I love their enthusiasm and just how they're able to make the dancers and audience feel part of something special. 040
OllieTheFoxy @olliethefoxy.bsky.social · 25/05/2026I feel like after a couple of scenes of them living comfortably with bullet sounds in the background, you get the idea already. They kept leaning on that way too much. Obviously it's harrowing and terrifying, and depicts a decent juxtaposition, but hammed up for way too long. 010
OllieTheFoxy @olliethefoxy.bsky.social · 25/05/2026Also, Jonathan Glazer sure loves his symmetry shots, or his DoP does. I feel like he should collaborate with Wes Anderson. 010
OllieTheFoxy @olliethefoxy.bsky.social · 25/05/2026Interestingly, I was expecting to find Hamnet boring, but it shocked me with its innovative and very meta performance of Hamlet near the end, that justified the steady build-up of the bulk of the movie. And the pay-off was emotionally intense. 010
OllieTheFoxy @olliethefoxy.bsky.social · 25/05/2026I think my review criteria is unashamedly 'did it shock me or surprise me in some way with something I've not seen before' === I liked the movie 110
OllieTheFoxy @olliethefoxy.bsky.social · 25/05/2026I get the film industry has a lot of depictions of this topic, and that we should be respectful towards each attempt. It's just that I get annoyed when people keep encouraging me to watch movies that don't necessarily try something that hasn't been done before. 110
OllieTheFoxy @olliethefoxy.bsky.social · 25/05/2026I mean... yeah, Zone of Interest was fantastic, but if it really shook you, I have to quote a letterboxd review: “What stopped you from being shocked before?” That's my major gripe with the movie. It was powerful and artistic and important, but I didn't feel like it added anything new. 310
OllieTheFoxy @olliethefoxy.bsky.social · 24/05/2026Now we're cooking!!! Dunnage, I swear we need to collaborate on some ideas one day! 110
OllieTheFoxy @olliethefoxy.bsky.social · 24/05/2026Writing a one-off routine that bakes SDF data from a dragon mesh, and my file name is dragon-baker.cpp and now I'm imagining an entire universe where there's this charming dragon baker who gives everyone croissants each morning. 220

OllieTheFoxy @olliethefoxy.bsky.social · 18/05/2026Studying for finals involved tons of writing notes, late nights, and fear, but it helped me actually remember the content long-term. It was stressful but it had to be me doing it, not a system. I wouldn't trade that memory for the world. I think i still remember how to encode JPEG by hand, hahaha. 000
OllieTheFoxy @olliethefoxy.bsky.social · 17/05/2026Oh no, I'm writing recreational C++ again. This must mean I'm stressed out about something. 030
OllieTheFoxy @olliethefoxy.bsky.social · 15/05/2026One thing I love about dining out at restaurants, is the whole 'getting an espresso' at the end. It's a really nice moment to reflect on all the food and think about the different flavours. Plus, everyone is super lively and has lots of things to say about their fave dishes. 020
OllieTheFoxy @olliethefoxy.bsky.social · 11/05/2026That said, my favourite demo group is Andromeda Software Development (ASD), as all their demos are just incredibly full of so much to look at. 010
OllieTheFoxy @olliethefoxy.bsky.social · 11/05/2026When it comes the demoscene, the arty demos are okay, but I find them a bit boring, but I really prefer the crunchy fun sounds and bright flashy visuals ones. The more feel-good the better. 110
OllieTheFoxy @olliethefoxy.bsky.social · 07/05/2026My favourite bit of Death Stranding 2 is building those roads. And then upgrading them to speed highways. It's so repetitive but somehow fun??? 030
OllieTheFoxy @olliethefoxy.bsky.social · 04/05/2026I used to get really annoyed by people writing stuff online with shitty grammar/spelling etc. But now, those are the posts I cherish the most, because at least there was a human behind them putting effort into it, rather than slop. 071

Kudos as well to the rest of the cast and crew, and especially kudos to director Chloé Zhao! I would recommend this movie even if Shakespeare is not your thing! 10/10letterboxd.comHamnet (2025)The powerful story of love and loss that inspired the creation of Shakespeare's timeless masterpiece, Hamlet. 030
