last night I dug through ancient dms to see if I could find old magical mundanity art from 2019 I hadn't already kept in my gallery. I did manage to find a little bit. I am so very relieved that I never did anything with this project until now... here is the one old doodle I feel like sharing

Started piecing together the existing dialogue for Magical Mundanity and man I feel way better about this script now that I can hear the characters. It's amazing how these things click together... directing the voice actors has been so fun too, they're absolutely amazing

Geoff Malory, someone who finally found a place to simply be. No worries, no expectations, just peace with himself and the world around him. Herbert, his squirrel familiar, is inversely ready to seek out trouble and disturb the peace... but what's life without some spice? #MagicalMundanity

Cammie Marlow, a person with aspirations that reached too far beyond her lot in life. She tries her best to keep everything together with what she's got, but it's hard not to feel like she's sinking. #MagicalMundanity

With it being more firmly announced, I literally cannot wait for y’all to see Magical Mundanity whenever it comes out. I was attached to these characters the moment I saw them and I hope you guys will too. That being said, on a tinier note, I dooo some work on it. Hehehhee. ;) Also. Luna.

You do not need AI to protoype anything in video games. You do not need AI for placeholders in video games. This is a flat lie.

one of my favorite magical mundanity characters to draw is one I have forbidden myself from posting until I reveal them in the actual story. in like 5 years when that moment comes I'm gonna have a crazy backlog of drawings of this single character to post in one big thread

Minor update to this piece! I recently changed Geoff's haircut so I wanted this art to reflect the new design. I think he looks much better now. He's a bit more androgynous, as a treat

A very vibrant red/yellow illustration of the Mimic from the Five Nights at Freddy's series. They're standing on the right side of the canvas holding their left hand upward as they stare forward with their head tilted.
On the left of the canvas is a silhouette of Murray's Costume Manor, and above it is a yellow moon with a swirl within it.

Been writing the new pilot script for Magical Mundanity this past month and god this is turning out SO much better than the short I wrote back in November. I'm still not done but everything is really starting to click in a way I didn't think was possible.
