Put together our #GangsOfRome #Byzantine #Constantinople game over the weekend. Kept the scenario pretty simple, each player had their own chariot racing faction, or Deme, who were fighting each other and looting the market. #Hooligans or pure direct […] [Original post on mastodon.wssmagazine.com]

I live near Admiral Farragut’s birthplace, and have considered doing an #AmericanCivilWar naval action of his. #DawnOfIron Mobile Bay scenario was on sale at #WargameVault and caught my eye— could I FDM 3D print ACW naval ships at 1/600? Results good so far…

Working on some market terrain for #GangsOfRome. I had the clever idea to use a clear acrylic base, and the unclever idea to glue everything on it before painting. But it worked out okay! Brush primed with white gesso. Paint on the clear base could be scraped off with a toothpick.

Got a #bambulab #p2s on Friday. My previous 3D printer experience was a #Creality #ender3 which I wound up just giving away. The user experience on this thing is just light years ahead of what I’ve previously experienced.

Used and abused #rotfly #plaguebearer from the local shop on sale. Luckily I had some spare sword hands from my previous plaguebearers. I don’t know much about them in game, I’ll use it as some sort of champion in #xenosrampant and #DragonRampant
