I should have a video ready next week to show off Rescues and Outlaw Subquests ^vv^

Coming in Chapter 3 of Monster Mystery, when you're Rank 2 or higher and fail on a Key/Urgent Quest or an Expedition, you can send out for a rescue or accept the failure...

(You can't ask for a rescue in infinite or daily-random locales like Mt. Mystery)

This is the menu that appears while waiting for a Rescue! You can send your code to a friend (or access it on a different save file) and that team can come help you!

You can safely save and quit from this screen. Also, if you're on a boss floor when you're defeated, you'll be sent back a floor and safely positioned next to the stairs. (Since saving isn't allowed in boss fights and it would be awkward to Rescue someone in a boss room lol)

The Rescue Team will go through the same locale layout as the original team. Once they reach the fallen leader, they can Rescue them! Rescue Teams can also give an item to the other team as a gift at this stage.

For the Rescue Team, all items found in the locale are Rescue Tokens instead- a currency used for a new Rescue Shop (I'll show it off in the video >vv>). You also get Rescue Tokens for completing a Rescue based on its difficulty!

Form the Rescue Team! We've got Explorers to save!

The Exploration Team made of a Magnamalo and Tobi-Kadachi take on the duty of Rescue Team! The Magnamalo points off into the distance where beams of light come out of the clouds below- signals given off by other Exploration Teams' Kinship Badges. Elder Bazel will fly them to the sites, and the Rescue Team will locate the Explorers and get them home safely! ... if they can.

Cinder's character Noctis, a silver dragonborn fighter with black markings. Usually he has armor and a sword and shield but he wanted to see a sort of alternate-universe version where he was in a more tribal clan, wearing a skull helmet, bracelets, stuff like that. I replaced his moonstone sword with a moonstone spear too and put him in a jungle :3 Thanks again, Cinder!

No matter the challenge, we can take on anything! Every monster can take on the world, so do your best, as always!

The explorer Farunokku and Nargacuga, alongside their friendly Quematrice, meet with Seltas, Velocidrome, and Great Maccao explorers- and a Guanzorumu to boot! All large monsters big and small have the power to change (or save) the world as long as they try their best!
(I'll talk about it more on FA when uploading comes back online, but this piece was inspired by the new stat table generator we made for Monster Mystery, making sure all monsters we add are unique and viable! I'm really proud of that- and this art! ^vv^)

Sagitar the Great Izuchi and Cinder the Viper Tobi-Kadachi construct a makeshift checkpoint on the path, blocking people from passing. Though it might appear like a shakedown, a sign in the back clarifies that it isn't, and they just really want your cheese.
