Still the best #Goose song IMO—especially when sitting on the beach in Hawaii post sunset.

Happy 27th birthday to one of the very few type 2 Reba’s in Phistory. About halfway thru this one (about 11:15 in) it takes an unexpected DARK left turn and completely gets out there. If you’re not familiar or haven’t heard it in a while, give it a spin. No […] [Original post on shakedown.social]

Happy 10/20/10 AKA Guyutica for those who celebrate. This is one of my favorite #phish shows I ever attended. The jamming wasn’t necessarily anything mind blowing. No epic long jams (yet still some very good ones for the era don’t get it twisted) but IMO […] [Original post on shakedown.social]

I just somehow realized it’s the 30 year anniversary of Fall 95 Phish. The year that officially sold me. (11/30/95 to be exact). One thing is for sure. I’d give anything for even a “standard” (at the time) Bowie from then (10/29/95) nowadays. #phish

@chopaganda Not so fast! For the last 42 years it’s actually been worse for us. You Jets guys actually have MORE playoff wins and deep runs than us since 1984. But yeah yeah yeah, we had our iconic teams in the 70’s and early 80’s. But literally since the […] [Original post on shakedown.social]

This is what being a #Raider feels like pretty much every week, every single year (besides 2 quick RD 1 losses in ‘16 and ‘21) for the last 23 years. Oh—and no SB rings for 42 years either—and I’m 49. #NFL

@bdunn.bsky.social HA! We are laughing! I didn’t even make picks on the last 2 shows and at least 3-4 others this year and I’m still top 18 (was top 13 as of 2 nights ago). Also had a top 5 finish just the other night. But right now FG just isn’t something […] [Original post on shakedown.social]

It’s confirmed. Willis is either completely deaf or he really loves the 2/13/70 Dark Star. He fell asleep with his ear literally on the Bose speaker. #gratefuldead #dogs

Going back thru Summer #Phish tour favs on my playlist while wife is out of town and this particular Hood has not gotten the proper love it deserves IMO. As for traditional type I versions, it’s the best of 2025 and stands up to anything in 3.0/4.0 I can […] [Original post on shakedown.social]

My wife left today for Peru/Brazil for 2.5 weeks, her counter to me doing the entire Spring #Phish tour back in April. I’m on my own with our four “kids”—AKA our geriatric, 14-15 yr old #dogs. Wish me luck.

I think it’s safe to say, that after 3 listens, 7/27/25 is the best #Phish show of 3.0/4.0. There are not many shows (of ANY era) we can basically all feel comfortable listening to EVERY SINGLE note from BOTH sets, and not feel the need to skip anything […] [Original post on shakedown.social]

@phewstepsaway @phewstepsaway It actually started at the Sphere, then was a TAB thing, then Billy next as it says in this write up if I’m not mistaken and misreading (which is possible as I’m not sober).

Pre-flight glass of cab. Getting to Colorado a few days before #Phish so I can see #Eggy at Dillon Lake tomorrow. So excited to go back to that amazing venue, and even more excited to see my first Phish bday show ever this Friday. LFG! 🙌

@DaveG924 On paper it’s a total yawner—🥱 Meter Maid jam was solid, and E or A always has potential for a nice jam as bad as both songs are. But on paper, it’s not great.

Best version of YEM since… Yeah…I’ll say it… …7/31/97. If someone knows of a better one that’s slipping my mind let me know. NONE of the other “2 jam”versions of 4.0 come remotely close to this one. This is (arguably) makes a strong case for the best jam […] [Original post on shakedown.social]

@saxncymbals.bsky.social last night wasn’t great either, but better than tonight for my money. So far LA has been a massive notch below SF (best shows of the tour) as well as SEA and POR, which were all great too. 🤷‍♂️
