The amount of effort I put into sideloading an old Reddit client (Apollo) onto my phone because it really was the best way to use that site before they enshittified everything and forced you to use their own app

Finished up Onimusha just a few hours after Ray and echoing everything he's saying! I've not had more fun with combat than in this game and the characterization is spot on for both comrades and antagonists. Just incredibly good all over! Up there as GOTY-candidate for me, for sure. 🙂‍↕️

Learning that Level-5, one of my favourite developers are leaning so heavily into AI is incredibly heartbreaking. I'm tired of this technology polluting and diluting my favourite hobby. I used this form to send some direct feedback, and I urge you to do the same: secure.level5.co.jp/inquiry/othe...

Simmered on it, and having initially bristled a bit about how young Link looks, I've landed on liking the new artstyle quite a lot! It's maximalist, and different, and I've always enjoyed that about The Legend of Zelda, how every entry has a distinct and unique look. Excited for November!

Been playing Big Walk with some friends lately and it's so much fun! The communication puzzles and hangout spots are so well crafted. I've not played anything with proximity voice chat before, but hearing my friend giggle through a walkie-talkie while trying to explain something is prizeless. 🥰

Wrapped up Beast of Reincarnation this evening! Something special about this game. It dares to sit in its melancholy and slow storytelling, even to its detriment. The slow burn is so good, but so lengthy. In true GameFreak fashion it has many concepts and characters with unrealized potential.
