A lot of my oc lore involves worldbuilding, origins and current state, filling in the rest is a little difficult because that'd require pages and pages of writing that I think should just remain in my brain :)

things got to the point where they had to partially mindwipe him in an attempt to control his abilities before releasing him to basically fend for himself. There's still a lot more I need to expand upon between his origins and over half a century later into his current state.

during the invasion most imps were simply escaping into our realm rather than being cannon fodder as they're largely uncontrolled, Io (or whatever he USED to go by) was one of the few front-line warriors. after the invasion ended, remaining demons were found, rounded up and were sent to be processed

basically the existence of demons on mars is still a relatively new thing, it all happened years ago after an event occurred that tore a rift between our realm and hell, after the invasion the rift closed and the demons that were left behind were stragglers, cut off from hells influence.

His universe used to be aDoom AU but post-redesign its basically become its own universe with some analogues and similarities to the Doom universe. He lives in a megacity on a terraformed mars, there is a co-existence between demons and humanity but its not perfect.

I cannot agree more, we've lost a lot of good ones over the years. I remember when the tumblr purge happened and a whole lot of really talented people just outright gave up because they couldn't see themselves finding a platform anywhere else, and nowadays its gotten even worse with the rise of Ai.
