I smoked a brisket today to make chilli with (& have a Texanish BBQ dinner tonight)

Photo of a slab of beef brisket meat seasoned with mustard, salt, pepper, garlic powder and Texan beef rub. The brisket is on the red Kamado Joe Junior BBQ grill and there is a lot of smoke in the dome coming from the cherry wood sherry whisky cask lumps in with the charcoal under the deflector plates for indirect cooking setup. The BBQ is sitting in a hole cut into the painted-green wooden garden kitchen table

Very exciting delivery due today that’s going to keep me busy for a while…

A screen capture of a graphic that suggests the background design is part of the original The Designers Republic artwork for Feisar, one of the imaginary futuristic race teams in the subliminal Sony PlayStation launch games lineup “wipEout”. The foreground shows a tip of a race craft but made out of LEGO

Had a busy week off work - S’s birthday, marathon hike, family BBQ, painted a cabin, felted a shed, played in a skittles tournament, painted a metal table & chairs, mowed a path through the garden, smoked a brisket, made a chilli and totally forgot to relax

I did a Living Library creative industry careers session today at a local college for NEETs, taking some objects from my past as talking points. They thought the Guild Wars CE box was a board game because it was too big to be a video game.

A photo of the Living Books flyer created about me:

“A Tale of Exciting Boring Stuff
Sam Watts
From playgrounds to pixels, Sam Watts started out at Drusilla's Zoo Park in Sussex, managing playground shifts and milk-float runs as a teenager. Their love of people, problem-solving, and play began even earlier, when they got their first computer at age eleven and discovered the magic behind the screen. From BBC web hits to pioneering VR in China and championing accessibility for players with disabilities, Sam has programmed a career that's explored many corners of the gaming world.”

OK finally finally finished the mff-PC with some lil walnut feet to match the front panel & also provide a bit more height and airflow underneath for the passive GPU intake
