I'm making plans to get the hell out of Texas in the wake of extreme insecurity about my job and finances. Please share this with anyone seeking or willing to have a roommate anywhere across the US! The details are below. I even made a funny little doodle so you know it's serious business!

Things are getting mighty precarious down here. My mom's planning to retire next year, my job's cut my hours, and I can see all my support nets start to fray. Nothing immediate, but I'm making plans regardless. Basically I'm putting out feelers for anyone willing to take or seeking a roommate across the US, but namely outside this dumbfuck hell state.

I need a place to crash so I can find work in the area and figure out how to stabilize given how increasingly scary it is staying here and waiting for every other shoe to drop. This is, of course, with the understanding that I will be covering my share of rent, food, and utilities when able.

If anyone, anyone in the US has a roof they have no problem sharing with a quiet, friendly mothman who will be very likely working nights anyway, my DMs are open, both on Discord and Bluesky. If all you can do is share and signal boost this, then that's also tremendously appreciated. I don't have any community down here, and I really can't afford to live by myself anymore, so I gotta go to where the community is and do my part. The mercy and kindness of folks like y'all is really all I can look to when everything feels so scary and uncertain. Thank you so much!
