[ #thebandghost #art ] been getting back into drawing these lil zines when it’s slow ut work >:) all of this is drawn with photo references but no underdrawings, just straight in with a ballpoint pen

the front cover of a 6 page the band ghost fan zine that i made by folding a sheet of a4 paper. it has a drawing of papa emeritus ii (secondo)’s hand holding his staff, and the text “2012-2015”

the first spread, which has a drawing of the back of secondo’s head (while he’s wearing his robes and mitre) on the left and a drawing of his face looking down on us on the right

the second spread, which has a full body drawing of secondo on the left and a close up of his staff on the right. across the top i’ve written the lyrics to infestissumam (“il padre, il filio, et lo spiritus malum // omnis caelestis delenda est // anti cristus, il filio de sathanas // infestissumam”)

[ #thebandghost #art ] a moon shone bright above her trial // as flames ate through her body, defiled 🥀🌖

fanart for the band ghost, drawn to celebrate the 15th anniversary of opus eponymous. digital art meant to resemble two pages from an illuminated manuscript, except the pages are mainly dark teal, grey, and silver

the left page has an illustration of papa emeritus i (primo) holding a cross that’s on fire, with his five hooded nameless ghouls behind him. the cathedral from the opus eponymous album cover is below/in front of them. the illustration has a simple silver frame around it, and around ut is a pattern made to look like it’s from an illuminated manuscript. the pattern consists of man eating plants, pentagrams, leaves. etc

the right page has the entire lyrics to stand by him by ghost in a “medieval” font, and a matching pattern surrounds it

[ #naddpod #naddpodgifting #art ] i know the light grows darker down below // but in your eyes, it’s gone before you know…

a digital illustration of frankie vantasmo from the twilight sanctorum campaign of not another d&d podcast. he is sitting on the side of his bed, head in hands, and there’s a photo of linette vantasmo on his bedside table. he is thinking about/missing her. there are three panels on the right side of the illustration (behind frankie’s back), one with a close up of linette’s ear and cheek, one with a close up of her smiling mouth, and one with a close up of her closed eyes. part of the lyrics to “life eternal” by the band ghost is above frankie and on top of the three panels. lyrics:

We dance once more, I feel your hands are cold
Within your heart, a story to be told
This is the moment of just letting go…
Can you hear me say your name forever?
Can you see me longing for you forever?
Would you let me touch your soul forever?
Can you feel me longing for you forever and ever?

(SISTER IMPERATOR COMIC ISSUE 2 SPOILERS) this is how we can get clown themed papa v and ghouls 🤞🤞

the cover of sister imperator #2. sister is wearing a gold coloured outfit and getting fired out of a cannon, with a circus tent behind her

SISTER IMPERATOR #2

A young Sister Imperator’s journey takes her to a traveling circus in eastern Europe, where she meets a wide variety of unusual people—some of whom will go on to change her life forever. As she becomes the resident human cannonball, it seems the Sister may have found her place after all…until tragedy strikes the circus. Could her stepfather’s horrible reach truly extend across the Atlantic? And if not, who else could be after her? Ghost creator and frontman Tobias Forge partners with writer Corinna Bechko, artist Puste, colorist Thiago Rocha, and Comicraft’s Jimmy Betancourt to shed some light on a shadowy past from deep within the Ghost mythos.

photos from when i got my irl to sit through my ghost for beginners presentation this past weekend. and yes, i successfully converted her bc she listened to ghost all the way home after <3

me standing in front of my tv, with my beginners presentation about the band ghost pulled up on it. the slide it’s currently on is about tobias forge himself. i’m blurry because i’m moving and laughing

the presentation is now on a slide about the early days of ghost, from when the first song was written in 2006 to when the first album was released in 2010. i’m crouched down on the side, by my laptop

i’m standing up and motioning to the tv, which is now on a slide titled “so, is ghost not a band?”. i’ve now brought out my papa iv plushie and placed him by the tv as well

i’m giving the thumbs up to the camera, the presentation is on a slide where it says my favourite song by primo is prime mover
