After months of hearing opposition from residents against a data center/solar array proposal from a Canadian developer, the Socorro County Commission last night unanimously approved a yearlong moratorium on data centers.

Busy as always at the Santa Fe County Fairgrounds, where poll workers told me they had a line of voters waiting when they opened at 7 a.m. I voted, and then interviewed voters. We have reporters in ABQ, Rio Rancho, Las Cruces and Gallup as well today, with a story coming at sourcenm[dot]com.
