I really liked the funny entertaining way in which @dennisg.nr.fm and @neonfawkes.com presented my track "DIGITIZER's PATH" on their @nr.fm @thestateofsynth.com show! *coughs* something about baths *coughs* I didn't say anything. Listen to their show here: nightride.fm/archive?stat...

ha! thanks, I hope my mechanised cinematic retro synth resonates!

to be truthful all of the darksynth artists when they release something if they have okish downloads it does get to that first page discovery territory. but in the current landscape it's hard to even get that so I'm happy. Of course to create sincere music is what is important and the most fun.

back to 9 now, hey I had my moment! :D

surprisingly I went not down but up in the #darksynth chart today. Now at position 5 a week after release, was happy enough with 8. I'll probably go down soon but it was fun while the tide lasted. Thanks all!

THE DIGITIZER is here! worked on it meticulously to give you the best retro biotech horror experience. It has a story! You can read the chapters that go with the songs on bandcamp! I hope you enjoy both the music and the story. GET DIGITIZED here: vosto.bandcamp.com/album/the-di... #darksynth #synth

you mean where you have to "sit", 80's music was made to dance to!

not all rich people are bad, for instance Michael Jackson made like 2 billion and he donated 500 million to charity and then another 500 million from the money made after his death because he put it in his will. no reason for inherent hate, it's about individuals.

Vosto @vostosynth.bsky.social · 06/05/2026

thanks for 1k streams on "Last Voyager" track released a month ago! ya I know I made things with 1 million+ streams but those days are gone. Someone is listening and that's great! If you haven't heard it yet, here you go: open.spotify.com/track/5sy0Fq... #synthwave #spacemusic #retroscifi

I can also say "hey I know this guy called Isidor he can confirm me, plez ask him"

I gotta' check it that score looks wild 5-4. The last excellent game I saw was that world cup final with France - Argentina which had the shodown of Mbappe vs Messi and Messi won, that was pretty glorious!

oh I'm screwed then lol I did have 20k in 2018-2020 though...can I just say " hey guys look I had those numbers one time in a distant galaxy "

ya it's like they streamlined it to where it just means melancholic simple sung melodies over a simple drum machine + a simple bassline + clean guitar with echo + minimal synths. and if you try to do something different even people will not add you to their darkwave playlist.

Vosto @vostosynth.bsky.social · 26/04/2026

cool, ya for instance yesterday I literally met someone on submithub chat with like 20 AI artist accounts and they all get somehow hundreds of thousands of monthly listeners with the best one at 500 000. That's more than my favourite bands. This guy makes a doctor's wage. True artists make peanuts.

I mean you could say that. but I think we should be pissed at this new system. because it's not fair to reward algorithm manipulation artists and AI Music spam while another person is the best musician in the world (not me) but is burried because of releasing only 1 album in 2 years.

'AI' generated music really stifling discovery of new artists. People are going to stick more to artists they already know are authentic. It's hard not to be sus about every new name I see in our submissions

not when it's done in good spirit. One time over at @nr.fm we made a sweatwave competition. So people made the most ridiculous aerobic style synth songs. I made one vocoding Arnold's famous video where he says "I feel like cumming in the gym so I'm cumming day and night!" good times!

I guess they say it to save cpu usage. If one plugin can sit in one place from where you send it to multiple places... Another reason is because you can sidechain the reverb before it gets into the channel for supposedly cleaner results. I both do that and not do that. I have 7800x3D cpu is good
