Having decent integrated graphics acceleration was kind rare in the early 00s which Vista required for Aero and such. Early 10s started to have decent iGPUs. 110

If the battery runs dry or gets disconnected, it resets the BIOS settings to factory default. This is a common way to troubleshoot a malfunctioning system, to reset CMOS. 110

Von @vonblarg.bsky.social · 19/03/2026If you're going with an air cooled, make sure it comes with, or that you get the suitable Contact Frame for the CPU. Without it top heavy air coolers can start sagging and create uneven pressure and cooling surface. 010
