FedEx originally had the time of delivery at 8:30 a.m. to 12:20 p.m., and now it got pushed back to between 11:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. At least its still coming today, but I have to keep reminding myself to avoid looking at Fire Emblem stuff out of boredom.

It's also worth noting that the rumored developer for the game is possibly Monolithsoft, so this could be a test-run to see how they handle remaking an original 3D Zelda before having them possibly work on new classic 3D games.

It would be neat to get a remake of Majora's Mask that keeps the spirit of the original game within this style, yeah. Seeing Termina reimagined in better detail would be interesting. It's just that I can't see it happening unless Aonuma just isn't involved in the project at all.

There needs to be massive changes made within the industry in order for it to continue thriving, and at this point in time- I can't see it getting any better (much like everything else under Capitalism).

This isn't getting into the fact that the demographic of video game players is an aging one. Most of younger Gen Z and Gen Alpha play free-to-play games now, because video game costs are rising, and it takes 5-7 years for a new entry to be made in a series now which kills brand relevance.

I mean, he isn't necessarily wrong. The video game industry is falling apart because of endless human greed. These rich CEOs are scared of taking risks because the budgets for modern games are over-inflated. They're scared to reduce budgets, because graphics are the thing that sells games now.

confession-style apologies for Majora's Mask because of how ashamed the original game made him feel. I've also seen people act like this means Twilight Princess will be getting a remake like this. Not understanding Ocarina only gets one because it's the flagship Zelda.

I think Xenoblade Genesis was what pretty much confirmed to me that Mythra Kid was going to be the Switch 2 Edition Hero, given that Genesis seems to be taking place in it's own world that's only remotely connected to Xenoblade 1-3. Most of the stuff in Genesis that'll connect will probably be lore.

I kinda thought it was going to be the MythraKid, given that it was the only one of the three that never ended up showing up in Xenoblade 3. I kinda doubt that the Future Redeemed shot was Kos-Mos honestly. I think it was probably meant to allude to the ending of X's Chapter 13 more than anything.

I also don't even understand what Hino means by "speeding up development from 5 years to 2." How is that working out for him, when the big game that uses the most GenAi in it's development (DecaPolice) is constantly getting delayed each and every year? It's just wild. I don't understand.

Seeing Level 5 games as a whole now just makes me feel numb. When they announced Yokai Watch 2 was getting a remake in the direct- I couldn't even try to muster up excitement for it. It just felt rough knowing that they're dead set on using GenAi because Hino became deluded.
