An engineer (IT). Born in USSR, living in Ireland. Putin&Trump are the enemies of the just and peaceful world. Trying to make humble contributions to counteract here and there; e.g. I volunteered to help evacuate people from Kharkivshchyna in 2022-03.

I feel like it is time to declare the step #1 complete.

Just an update on how annoyingly slow Trump's popularity is falling:

How to make a subscription there? I see only a way to add my card for "pay-as-you-go" :( When I asked the builtin chat, it started to talk about Claude instead:

Does not look like a "blue wave", yet. Given Trump's disregard of the law, I'm not sure this is sufficient.

To be pedantic: It was USSR, not Russia. USSR lost 20-35mil (depending on the source). It included a lot of Ukrainians, Belarusians and other western republics of the USSR.

Although, it feels like the numbers are a bit off. For example, Trump is supposed to be -25%.

void @voidnil.bsky.social · 10/06/2026
It seems like there is some discrepancy at least with data about Donald Trump.

Just in case: > tell a woman who she is For me gender was just not a factor at all. It just felt very obvious that people support Kamala NOT to support a genocide. --- In any case, > I get to say who I am genuinely sorry if I overstepped or/and was wrong in my response to Jay's question.

For example, as I already linked, in just few first months after Trump got to power, there died 10 times more people from malnutrition than through the whole 4 years of Biden.

BTW, started playing the video you shared. And the first 5 seconds say about deficit. So, I'll just leave it here. So that people can see fiscal responsibility of Republican and Democrat presidents. And this is despite Democrats always inherited a disaster after a Republican (e.g. 2008)

Unfortunately, not 28%, but 38% (while he was elected by only 31% of the vote-eligible population).
000
void @voidnil.bsky.social · 28/03/2026
I don't see his approval rating tanking as a result of launching the war. It seems like Trump supports are not moved one inch.

void @voidnil.bsky.social · 11/02/2026
Trump was elected into the office by 31% of eligible voters, but he is still being supported by more than 31% of the population.

Just want to confirm as a Russian: it is a bullshit, indeed. Moreover, there is a significant correlation between kindness (/helping others) and being closer to the right edge on the map below:

The further away from hardware and closer to software: the faster the pace. It is normal for a piece of software to take the world like a wildfire, yes. Yes, it will stay, but you need to compare it with other SOFTWARE products, not hardware technologies.

> to drain Europe’s investigative resources I don't get it. EU's annual GDP is $24T. Is it really a problem to investigate 145 cases in 3 years? Does EU just don't care at all about security so that they (450M of rich population) cannot allocate resources to handle just like 50 cases a year?

People are polarized about immigration and other issues only because they are being brainwashed. When you start asking people about statistics, you see that their understanding of the world is completely skewed by lying propaganda. The only way to stop this, is to fight the propaganda.

I feel like if we were to breakdown the "Accidents" into "Car, e-bikes, other" then we will see a similar mismatch between reality and reporting:

No. Typically, when an economic bubble bursts, it precipitates a recession (or a similar event), which often results in increased unemployment, reduced consumer spending, and wage declines in inflation-adjusted wages. You can see what happened to wages in other western countries after 2008.

void @voidnil.bsky.social · 30/11/2025
One can see that the trend is completely fine, if you exclude the bubble:
