walking dog cover #5 - Valentines (2022) [ 𝘳𝘦𝘱𝘶𝘣𝘭𝘪𝘴𝘩𝘦𝘥 ]

Ghost sits on a bench, in a park steeped in feelings. The environment shifted to reflect the flurry of emotions that one goes through when in the throes of infatuation.

Love is a feeling. And feelings can cut both ways.

wonder what he's thinkin' of lil inky doodle of val

An illustration of Val with a hand over his muzzle, with a sly smirk on his face. He holds one arm behind his back. He wears only his undergarments. Both his arms darken closer to his paws, dark gradients of ink.

Ghost dances on the roof, the moon smiles at him. It's as if the whole world is gone for a moment, and all that's left— is the music.

disco elysium val portrait 🖼️🖌️ a little painting exercise, hope i did well! also please bsky don't compress me i've been good-

It is a Disco Elysium styled portrait of Valentine.

A piercing casual gaze from the eyes of one who has seen too much. Val stands before a backdrop of a miasma of red, bathed in teal smoke and light. His face warm, from lights coming elsewhere.

val arcana lore! 🟥 he uses it to banish people who find his hideout temporarily.

Val stands cloaked before the viewer, face partially obscured by the hood.. The space around his hand peels back, forming new edges.

leisure time! 🎨 by @tritscrits.bsky.social you did great with this!

Val lounging at a bar with a flagon of something that he's drinking. He gasps as a mischievous yeen gets familiar with his rear end, pulling his trousers down and eats his hole out.

ahoy creatures. this is my (sorta) official post letting you know that the val plush™ is going to be available soon, some details below.

It's an image of the official Val plushie being spotlit. There's a shitpost quote saying "Sugondis.", on the side of the image as a joke. Behind the quote and the Val in the foreground, there's a large overlayed image of the same Val plush in his poncho, bathed in red and slightly faded, emulating an older style photograph.

This plush will be available for purchase very soon.

marigold ☀️ procreate practice.

Procreate practice drawings featuring Val. A simpler, heavier inked style sits in the back, giving a full view of his torso down to his knees.

Another closeup of Val is positioned closer. He's holding an orange marigold in his fingers, with a seemingly serene expression.

val's "bio". posting for a friend, made for another.

Valentine, the wolfdog.

While seemingly nothing more than a regular dog mix, he is in actuality, a celestial body carelessly sealed away into his current form.

What makes a soul? The mind? The body? Or perhaps, the marriage of every aspect in a person.

For Vals, this is a constant source of internal conflict. In essence, he knows he is as much as the person he presents himself to be, as the thing he tries to contain.

He is not a monster- but this doesn't mean he couldn't just wipe it all away, whether he wants to or not. Some days, it gets harder to contain, to manage. When the planet shifts, it shifts the boundaries on his seal.

All forces react to one another, and this is no different.

When the cold rolls around, this happens to be the same time that the "ley lines" pull on him the hardest, pushing him further out of sync. Fur growing longer, his body gaining mass, even his thoughts begin unravel. They're all merely symptoms of course, for to truly lose control spells the end of everything worth keeping.

Despite all this, he smiles. He is soft, and calm. When the ship sinks, he drowns in quiet acceptance. "I'll bounce back", he believes. Because as long as there are things worth keeping, he'll let himself be anchored down to the bottom. Warmth comes easy to him, and little acts of showing he cares builds up his will to become his best self.

At his worst he is like frayed rope; losing it's purpose and function, but still present. It is possible to be braided back together, as long as even a bit is still woven together. It's these little connections that drive him, and push him to stay strong. But each time it happens, it's like it's that much closer to finally losing himself completely.
