Paulina Peavy belongs to a group of artists, many of whom were women, whose art is deeply connected to spirituality, the occult, and early twentieth-century abstraction. She was not only a painter, teacher, and filmmaker but also an ardent feminist, a guide to other worlds, a seer, and a devoted pacifist. She lived and worked in Southern California and was part of the California post-Surrealist group around artist Loser Feitelson. Here, the luminous jewel-like tones, crystal shapes, and wisps of color reffect her signature technique of layering translucent color and returning to the canvas over several decades.

I had better get this restrung. I recieved this pikachu from a person in full Professor Oak costume complete with wig and eyebrows, and added round glasses with the swirly lenses. They were giving out starter Pokémon 🥰
