Had this idea kicking around for a while, finally sat down and drew it. Salamander had a really shitty childhood and sometimes doesn't realize that the "funny little story" he's telling is what others would call childhood trauma. Albedo and Zali react like normal people to it.

Made a haunted dagger for my TF2 team. It got shattered and each member has a shard of it.

It's interesting to see how much nails grow, as marked by nail polish. Painted them at the end of June before a Pride event, my thumbs were the only ones that still had paint by August. It looks like 1/3 inch, but that's just the perspective of the shot, it's closer to 1/4.

Lighting practice with a character who partially counts as a light source. I did a lot of cell shading during Art Fight and found a method I really like, but shading from multiple sources is still pretty hard for me.

Human form for my gryphon, Griffon. He's a native of my worldbuilding island chain, the locals there having grey toned skin and are often just called grey people, as opposed to black people or white people. Griffon often keeps parts of his regular form active, even when mostly in human form.

My boyyyyyyyyyyyy Spectre the Gulusgammamon! Found and posed a 3D model, scaled, converted, and printed it, then painted and gave him an item to focus on. I'll make his purple cloak later, I don't have any fabric that would work right now.

The redone comic book the scout holds for the beanbag taunt. It took me a couple hours to do, so I wanna show it off now that I have no more taunts to recolor. You can't read 99% of the words in game, so I just had fun with it. I'll link to my gallery images for the art I used, it's my own stuff!

Back at it again with more purple edits. I also fixed the medic's mug (made it purple and changed the symbol rotation) and the medic's chair (made it sliiiightly more red-purple and not as blue-purple) from last post. Here I changed the broom, spellbook, and guitar (model from Moregun mod).

The gift of May, lilacs! Picked some earlier today, and wow do they always smell so lovely. We have a lilac tree in the yard and I adore having it there.

Be sure to read instructions carefully in case a brand decides some of their stuff encourages microwaving, but others in almost identical packaging will cause a resonance cascade in your kitchen. I saw a brand new color when I went to thaw one of these fuckers the way it told me to the previous day.

I have this weird alien creature thing I used to draw and finally drew him again

Fixed a ton of little things that were bugging me with yesterday's Digimon post. Mostly tiny tweaks, reworks, and resizes. Stuff like adding metal highlights to Sala's claws, adding more variation to Skulla's armor color, and fixing the glow and background. I can't edit images, so new post instead.

Holy shit I FINALLY did it. 1 Million damage on my ZE-exclusive Detonator. I've been working on this since mid 2024. I can finally just play like normal with a primary weapon instead. Next goal: get back to my previous rank on my main server after backsliding from months of playing MGS.

Summer in the Hills - Originally this wasn't going to have a background, or shading, or... much of anything. Sometimes stuff just keeps getting added though. Salamander can have some shitty cell shading and lighting, as a treat.

Updated pictures of my desk and space! I've shuffled around, added, removed, and changed a lot of stuff since my previous post about this in November. I'm really happy with my space and it feels fully fleshed out now!

For a few years, I've had this little cheetah cub figure on my shelf. It's alright, not perfect but it's also not /bad/. I repainted a couple figures before and decided to do it again, this time to an ocelot, after my favorite MGS character! Tempted to make a little red beret and scarf as well.

Redid the Toyhouse avatars for my All Tomorrows crew! Much more cohesive designs, consistent with one another, and it fixes several things I didn't like about the last batch.

Happy Serval Day! Cecil and Rook are staying warm with some fluffy winter wear.

I start thinking about next year's RenFest the moment I'm walking into the parking lot. Already made the trinkets I'll be handing out next year! I made similar ones in 2025 and it was a lot of fun. I even got some trinkets in return. The necklaces go to fursuiters since I love seeing them.

I made a fake Pokemon based on my dragons, Salamander and Skullamander! I've been wanting to do this for ages, so I'm happy to finally have tackled this project. They're a line of fire/dragon types with an alternate final evo. Psuedo-legendary dragons based loosely on medieval knights.

The third is a larger, more upright anthro with the same color scheme. 3 sets of horns and crests, a shield made of crests, and he's holding his tail, which turns into an orange sword half way through, in his hand. Text reads "Salaknite - The knight Pokemon - Fire/Dragon type - Fiercely loyal and protective of the weak, Salaknites have high health and defense to tank hits for their allies. They are deeply loyal to their trainers and take their role very seriously. These dragons use their bladed tails as swords and the crests of their fallen kin as shields. Salaknites try to befriend Skullaknites and attempt to convince them to be less hostile to others. - Three sets of horns and crests. Fire reaches near the base of the neck. After about a week of work, several days being entirely consumed by it, I finally have my own Hollow Knight skin!! Skullamander was my choice, as he's generally who I play as in video games. I did everything but Nail Art animations and ones for the thorns and slug charms because I never use them.
