I mean the Switch version probably plays fine. I could check out the demo and decide from there but I’m just surprised there’s been no word about a Switch 2 version at this point in the console’s lifecycle.

Anyone that’s playing Fire Emblem: Fortune’s Weave, do the paralogues appear on the map at all? I got a “tutorial” explaining them but I can’t find any anywhere.

I was surprised at how good it was. It usually goes pretty cheap too.

Living in a small town, I almost never got to use that feature. Can’t say I miss it but it was still a neat idea.

Shadows of Valentia vibes in Fortune’s Weave. Loved the 3DS games so it’s nice to see sprinklings of that game in this.

I think he said it runs better on Switch 2 but nothing’s been confirmed of an actual native version yet.

A reminder that if you haven’t played Monster Boy and the Cursed Kingdom, you definitely should get on that. A damn excellent Metroid inspired game that was my GOTY when it came out.

And I try not to over stress it all. As long as the obvious content is done, I figure the rest I can’t really go and maximize all of what you can do unless I went and used some guide. The game isn’t punishingly hard, even on the hardest difficulty.

Well of all the sections I’ve done so far, before reaching the time limit I’m usually left over with turns I don’t even know what to do with once I’ve done everything there is to do. Though the map does get huge to explore later on, I at least try to get all sidequests done before.

Thankfully the game seems pretty forgiving when it comes to exploring.

I’ve run out a few times on some characters that I’m trying to build a friendship with or whatever so that I can recruit them. Thankfully a quick inn visit is an easy way to replenish it.

Is there daily stuff? I think most activities that are limited are all on a weekly basis so once that’s taken care of, I just go out exploring the map. Resources are just… a lot. Never have enough gold to buy them all and it’s definitely hard to keep track of some of them/where they are.

That would be interesting to split the paths with multiple people. But yeah it’s just massive and splitting it among different characters and trying to know what to do might be too much to handle haha.

Is anyone else playing more than one path at a time? I figured it would be way too confusing to focus on all of them at once.

Getting into the flow of Fire Emblem: Fortune’s Weave though I always have massive FOMO when playing. But is there anything more satisfying than when your characters level up?
