Us FDEs at Camunda embed in customer envs as "just another engineer" at the org. Often this means having to use Win11, fear-bricked by corp IT w/ endpoint security, virus scanner(s!), etc. And then you drop into WSL and go "aaaahhhhh" when the relief kicks in.

"Graph engineering is the practice of wiring multiple specialized agents or steps into a graph - nodes that do the work, edges that route between them, and shared state flowing along those edges - for when a single agent running one loop isn't enough." (from www.aibuilderclub.com/blog/graph-e...)

Graph engineering: the 2026 shift from a single agent loop to a multi-node agent graph. What it is, loops vs graphs, the frameworks, and an honest hype check.

funny to observe that w/ "Graph Engineering" in 2026, the AI "industry" seems to finally reach the verdict that deterministically orchestrating agents is the secret sauce. Exactly what Camunda has been doing with "Agentic Orchestration" since ... forever?!

the centuries old Socratic reasoning worked super for me recently: we set up a Claude-driven reasoning challenge for BPMN experts. They had to defend their opinonated modeling, with Claude playing the socratic challenger. Results made their way into #ProcessOS and it now models better than ever 🤙

MCP tools, Agents + Subagents, Skills - all missing a consistent versioning story. We're solving this pragmatically in #ProcessOS (semver, tags, releases). But c'mon, this is solved everywhere else in Software Engineering already; there should have been a standard for this from the get-go.

What once was your human engineering force driving the cost, is now compute time and inference of LLM providers. Wild times. 5/5

- high quality agentic engineering remains expensive, in time and money. Yes, that's right, folks. Even with an agent swarm capable of hammering unparalleled amounts of feature code towards your quality gates, _test-driving_ durable and resistant agentic solutions is sloooow and burns tokens. 4/5

- terminals rule. (They always have, but that's besides the point here.) They're the most direct path to the engine room, natural language flows as plain text right into the machine. Extra bonus if you use STRG+G (and have $editor=nvim in your env) on the prompt for more editing options. 3/5

Yet in the murky waters of probabilistic engineering, some structural invariants have become even more -well- invariable than ever: - tests rule. They not only protect from regressions, but also decide on development speed. The quicker you can quality control PRs, the faster PRs can land. 2/5

I've been working on @Camunda's #ProcessOS for some time now (context: ProcessOS is to processes what coding agents provide for software development). This means using an agentic engineering approach to -well- create the agentic solution ProcessOS (yep, inception vibes). 1/5

- they're quality gated by automated tests (well, the good™️ projects are). If LLM code is not good enough, and you missed that part in your own review, then the tests will catch it. So send that code. IMO the perfect is the enemy of good. In tech, no need to fight that battle 😅 (2/2)

and btw: sending patches upstream is always good, for multiple reasons: - they're reviewed. If changes requested: you just learned something! If commented: you just learned something. If approved: Partyyyy (1/2)

I don't think so. It's dead. Was never production-ready at enterprise scale anyway. Will probably be softened with some "LLM prompting is the new UI" spinning, but RIP Build Apps.
