I have been to a vanishingly small number of truly mainstream shows, but Goldfinger stands out because so many other punk and pop punk crowds in the early-to-mid 2000s when I went to a lot of shows were so pleasant. Mostly people just wanted to bop around and help each other out!

I got the first book when Audible suggested it, not knowing what I was getting in to. I liked it just fine, but the smut was (yes, vague, and) hilariously back loaded. I've kept reading because I like the world/fantasy, but if I was reading for the smut I would for sure be disappointed.
