Lately I've been on a quest to learn backend and web dev, and the best idea I had for a side project was... a GitHub bot that drops memes on your pull requests. Free for public repos, need testers to break it: lgtmeme.com

lgtmeme.com

AI-Powered Memes for Pull Requests | LGTMeme

AI-powered memes for your pull requests. Install the GitHub App, open a PR, get a meme. No code access, no config.

I accidentally spilled an RxJava noodle soup all over my codebase.🍜 What should I do? Would leaving it in rice overnight help? 😅

If you have a Team Lead, Head of Mobile, VP of Engineering, and CTO, you don’t have a flat hierarchy in your 50-people startup.

I went through a decent number of interviews last year and here are some things to keep in mind if you are interviewing candidates for your company 🧵

Hey Android devs! 👋 I have one free ticket for droidcon Berlin, so if you would like to attend the conference just reply below. The first one gets the ticket. Please make sure that you can attend the conference, and it would be great if you are a junior dev or a student.

That feeling when you chat with Google's customer support and you are constantly wondering if you are talking with a human or with a bot. 🤨 After 30 minutes of chatting, I am still not sure. 😅

Is having a Jacoco test coverage report worth it in a multi-module Android project? It seems that nothing is working as it should. I am starting to lose my mind 😵‍💫

Vladimir Jovanović @vladimirj.dev · 27/08/2021

If you are creating a commit with the message "unit test fixes" you have much bigger problems than a couple of broken tests

It's interesting to see that most of the developers don't pay for learning materials. It's probably because, thanks to the amazing dev community, there is a huge amount of learning content available for free. twitter.com/VladimirWrites/status/1…
