Starxxon @vl-tone.bsky.social · 25/08/2026These days, every byte in the Super Mario 64 ROM is accounted for, but not so in 2009... Back then, I got the idea to get my editor (Toad's Tool 64) to zero all data normally read when loading a ROM. Looking at non-zero bytes, I found unused objects : A Blargg, a trampoline and small Koopa shells! 130
Starxxon @vl-tone.bsky.social · 07/05/2026I'm sorry to say that I'm *very excited* about the new Star Fox for Switch 2... The original SNES game has a special place in my heart, and I've fond memories of playing Star Fox 64. None of the more recent sequels grabbed my interest. 1/2 150

Reposted by StarxxonStarxxon @vl-tone.bsky.social · 10/04/2026I played VS. SMB in the arcades months before the NES was released/advertised in Canada. When I first saw SMB on the NES I was like "wow it's a perfect port of the arcade game!". Also, the high score entry screen does have some cool music! It was also used in the 1986 Super Mario Bros. movie. 0124

This video revolutionized "Luigi in SM64" memes by going beyond badly photoshopped static images! 😏 It also happens to be the first footage of Super Mario 64 ever posted to YouTube! youtu.be/wBW4LtSi2QEyoutu.beLuigi is Really Real 2005: The MovieYouTube video by Starxxon 120
