The discussion of the Veronica Explains’ “writerdeck” reminded me how back in the end of the 90’s, when WinWord 6.0 was already a standard, a lot of journalists were still using MS Word 5.0, the last version before they introduced pulldown menus in 5.5, because it helped them to focus on writing.
