RE 👏 POST 👏 ART 👏 IF 👏 YOU 👏 LIKE IT 👏👏👏 I have so many amazing friends and moots with incredible art and their stuff is NOT being reposted. If it’s not reposted, then others can't see because there is no algorithm. I take a break and a lot goes unnoticed. Support artists! We're all they've got!

All of this writing is for my Monster au of my OCs that now has Gorillaz characters written into it. A lot of time and energy has been poured into this, so if you guys like it please let me know! It would be greatly appreciated! Alt text has all the same words in their respective screenshots 💙💚

This is easily my favorite sketch of Murdoc for 2026 so far #ashsflame #murdoc #murdocniccals #gorillaz #sketch

A sketch of Murdoc Niccals from Gorillaz. He grins eagerly at someone with a big smile plastered all over his face.

Ik there's like a 2 year difference between these two artworks (and one is an alternate universe version of the other character), but it's kinda weird seeing how my art style shifted. Even if slightly. It's nice??? Idk how to put it, but it's nice seeing improvement, even in the small things

This is probably a terrible idea, but... Any suggestions for my new Murdoc pfp and banner today? I typically try to keep them related. Like my pfp and banner being from the same phase. So yeah any suggestions?

Take this since my birthday is coming up. Text is also in alt

Text that reads:

Hey guys. I just wanted to stop by and say a few things before I disappear again!

I'm alive. Ik I've been posting sketches ALMOST consistently, but I haven't really drawn things I NEED to. I have a commission I need to complete (my client is a literal saint has the patience of a angel), a DTIYS after the comm to celebrate now 3̶0̶0̶ 400 followers, reference sheets for my OCs, art to illustrate my Michael and 2D Gorillaz crossover short story... It's a lot to get done and there's a LOT more to do... and I don't have much time. I also have a summer class I'm taking, but it ends next week.

I won't get into super personal details, but my mental health has been deteriorating. Rapidly. For about 4-5 months. College friends have said that I look sickly physically and I am not improving. My depression and anxiety have worsened and somehow my parents think I'm fine??? And that I can just "change the way I think" (they also don't believe depression is a medical condition nor do they know I have it). They also are forcing me to attend university in the fall, despite me begging to take at LEAST one semester off for my mental health and financial issues... they said no and now I'm enrolled for fall. So that is contributing to my extreme burnout. I also will have to miss Gorillaz coming to the USA in September so that's absolutely wrecking me emotionally too. Life sucks.

Text that reads:

That paragraph is a lot to take in, so forgive me. On a more positive note... my birthday is coming up on July 13th. I never really celebrate it much with friends (family issues keep me from doing so), but I want to do something a bit different. One of my friends made an entire birthday list for themselves for their friends/followers and I want to do the same. I don't want much, but I do ask this:

I have a really, really strong adoration for Gorillaz and my OCs. The only thing I really want is fanart. Whether it's drawing Ash or Michael individually, together, or with members of Gorillaz. I'd love anything. Hypnosis art is peak, cute art is appreciated, chaos is always welcome. I'm good with anything. Or if you guys just draw Murdoc, I wouldn't complain (although Ash with him would be awesome)! Regardless, that's what I want for my birthday. Art of Ash and/or Michael with or without Gorillaz.

Thanks for reading my mindless rambling. I'm gonna disappear again now. Adios.

Follow up to this. I'm trying to keep myself from burning out and crashing so badly #murdoc #murdocniccals #gorillaz #sketch

Murdoc glancing down to the left, thinking about something while talking to himself.

Murdoc staring out, processing something slowly.

The gears are turning in that old Brit's head with a realization.

Murdoc gives a very smug grin and says something reassuringly to himself, satisfied with a probably evil thought.

I'm close to crashing out from irl stuff. So take Murdoc finding out that hypnotism is real and coming to that realization after goofing off with a pocket watch around Ash #ashsflame #murdoc #gorillaz #oc

"Hypnotism is real?.."

Murdoc glancing down to the left, thinking about something while talking to himself. Ash has a dazed expression and is staring blankly into space.

"I- ..."

Murdoc staring out, processing something slowly. Ash is still dazed.

"..."

Just finished an art study! I was studying how Jamie Hewlett's art style has evolved over the years and I landed upon phases 6-7. I did my best at imitating his style and it was very, VERY difficult, but I enjoyed it! Take my favorite fictional (husband) character atm #gorillaz #murdoc #ashsflame

Guys, I mean this when I say it: Please commission this artist. Their art style is gorgeous, dynamic, and vibrant and the artist themselves is very kind, patient, and fast! They don't even get a fraction of the attention they deserve. If you need a commission, please consider them!!!

Forgive me for no art of any kind since that WIP. My depression has gotten bad. Really bad. My body is starting to physically shut down from stress and my friends are getting worried. I'm doing my best to take care of myself, but I wanted to explain why it may seem that I've disappeared. Sorry guys
