Soon all that will be left is two devs and their army of copilot slop machines.

A Twitch Browser Extension exposed 30,000 users' OAuth tokens to a Russian bot service. The extension promised to block Twitch ads, force 1080p, and auto-collect channel points. Users: Remove the Chrome/Firefox extension, then disconnect all sessions + reauthenticate. socket.dev/blog/malicio...

True, though I'd rather the sub price be split up so I can pay for the version I actually want to play rather than paying for all of them

Viztee @viztee.bsky.social · 12/09/2026

I think I'm just totally out of sync with the wider gaming communities wants. Do people really want to play yet another version of a Classic version of an old game? Do people really wanna play a game with 5+ battlepasses in it? Do people really enjoy when a game releases as a buggy mess? Idk anymore

Seems clear the PS5 can't handle the outside world rendering to the detail it could be so they just made it so flat and disappointing. Maybe when we get the PS6 rerelease... 🙃

Viztee @viztee.bsky.social · 29/08/2026

Amazing how GTA6 can look both insanely detailed and realistic yet at the same time look like it is just GTA5. The character detail, hair physics, cut scene lighting is all insanely good. But in the world and the car textures are terrible and the lighting is so flat, and facial animation is poor

New Star Wars XCOM-like game comes out this week! My two biggest loves combined!

I had one day this week where I actually felt like myself for the first time in over a year. Low pain, focused, motivated, real! Sadly now the exhaustion and pain are back in full swing and I can only look back and wonder why on that one mysterious day did I actually feel alive.

My favourite part of adverts for ChatGPT is how nothing they show people asking it would actually help them in any way. I keep seeing this one about a hat business and nothing they ask it would give them accurate information for their needs 🤣

The new Avatar movie was super good, it helped fill so much of the world building gap between The Last Airbender and Legend of Korra! Only two things were kinda weird, when they showed the younger versions of the characters with different VA's, and the Suki erasure, like what the heck. Suki is best!

Here's the list of anti rights groups in the UK as documented by Amnesty International.

Amnesty International put out a major report documenting the influence of UK based anti trans gender critical organizations and their funding. Within hours, GC groups threatened defamation lawsuits and Amnesty was forced to pull it down. Proving the point they're anti rights. Anyways, here it is.

All hints lean to GTA6 Online releasing as a separate game. Wonder how much they'll charge for it on top of the single player game

Viztee @viztee.bsky.social · 17/06/2026

Ah so that's where they also ended up, weird they're not on Prime at all. I have the box set but it's just more convenient you know 😅

What the frak Til! The two parter is like a mini movie and then the episodes become more episodic with an overarching plot so I can see how you might not like the vibe change. Does get suuuper good though

Mobile data is weird sometimes you are in a place and have 5g and it's super fast and works reliably and sometimes you have 5g full bars and nothing works, you can't even make a phone call. Did they just install it wrong? 🤔

Viztee @viztee.bsky.social · 06/06/2026

Let's fucking go 🎉 Looks like they've taken the very dynamic movement that GW2 has with it's gliding and mounts and added even more stuff you can do to seemlessly travel, very cool

Just watched Mando and Grogu, really enjoyed it! It was really lovely to go watch a Star Wars movie in the cinema, and you could it was made with so much love for Star Wars. Nice subtle nods for long time fans, my mum, who has not seen The Mandalorian show understood everything and really enjoyed it

Maybe the execs need to make something new then instead of buying legacy shows and trying to bastardise them into something else 😭

020

Viztee @viztee.bsky.social · 03/06/2026

Amazon apparently have cancelled the new Stargate series, which is tragic but also kinda okay because I'm sure Amazon execs would've found a way to fuck it up. Wish all this big ghoul corporations didn't own the rights to all this amazing shows 😞

Love watching Interior Design Masters but they need to ban AI usage. One of the AI users got knocked out but now we have a new one and it goes against the whole point of the show and being a designer. Don't need AI to draw a bird, just practice and draw it before so you don't fuck it up on the day

They parodied popular TV so hard that they became the same badly written slop. Sad to see. At least they might end up with a worse ending than GoT

Being senior manager at a AAA games company must be the best. Force devs to work awful deadlines, vibe code everything, + don't give them time to test anything or hire any QA. Charge customers one time fee plus a monthly fee + add mtx. Say sorry we're listening. Make no change. Make bank, repeat.
