My viewpoint is that we have to benefit all people regardless of nation or such. Things like Numbers 31(:18, ‘save for yourselves’ the virgins among the enemy nations) seem to conflict with this goal. I can’t make a special exemption that it’s somehow okay for any group of people to think this way.

Possibly, but they might let it happen indefinitely. imo best solutions for a dead internet are human verification rather than bot detection. This may be tricky. Best solutions I can think of seem mildly dystopian, even if decentralized. There’s not enough work in this field imo
