If Sqh thought it was going to be any less painful, he was horribly mistaken. Mbj moved as fast as lightning, and his blows carried the entirety of his strength. Sqh had managed to dodge two hits by sheer dumb luck, but after a strike that snapped his wrist, he dropped the sword and ran away.

As he had expected, it was more violent than the heavenly realm. Mbj had killed 3 demons who had protested against his presence and another handful who had protested his being made queen. By the time it ended, blood soaked into the floor and the thick scent filled the air.

Sqh had gotten up twice at night to check on Bh, only to find his son perfectly clean and sleeping peacefully. Each time, he had reluctantly returned to bed and rewrapped Mbj’s arm around himself so as to not anger him. As Mbj had said, Sqh was dressed and brought to court the next morning.
