I thought it was just me. It's somewhat comforting to know it wasn't just my watch habits that broke it.

Hoping the best, I'm glad to hear you're doing well though! It's sad that some have such a malformed view of reality that they feel justified doing genuinely awful things to others, whatever the motive they have. There's enough hostility out there irl, a shame some repeat it in recreational spaces

They look cool but I'd be worried putting all that weight on the port, also the battery will not last long at all.

After recent events this has to be the worst time for one of the biggest Minecraft mods of the decade to drop 😭

People get disgusted at the thought of Pilk but then a coke float is fine? It's the same thing one it has finished melting!!!

The best change Pokemon has done is removing random encounters. I forgot how annoying caves were without repel.

I don't wanna lag because some 500mb abomination loaded in at spawn midway through a set, its too late by that point even if we have player moderation in the lobby.

010

Viviaes @viviaes.me · 01/02/2026

Having a way to set perf limits in a lobby beyond physical moderation would be a godsend for event spaces. Set people to error bot and prompt a change on spawn.

The government's response can be seen here. 350k signatures in 3 days is unprecedented. I'm curious to see how this will be handled or taken into any account over the coming weeks. It's really not looking good. petition.parliament.uk/petitions/72...

... to your own identity / facial scan. The UK has been cracking down hard on civil protest and disobedience recently, I can absolutely see this being used as part of this strategy.

Viviaes @viviaes.me · 29/07/2025

A VPN only works some of the time. My gut feeling is this is being done to kill anonymity and make tracking people easier. The platform doesn't have any direct identifier but the verification services do, and we just have to take their word that they're deleting any logged reference back ...

120

Viviaes @viviaes.me · 29/07/2025

I don't trust these companies to actually hold up to their promises of deleting data after use. How often has this come out to be a lie? Unfortunately a lot of services there is no choice but comply. The account was made in the UK and often that's enough to get it marked.

Viviaes @viviaes.me · 29/07/2025

So it looks like the UK "protection" law is here to stay. To clarify, it's not just pornographic content. It includes anything mature, graphic or violent too. Reddit has age gated LGBT subreddits Discord anything spoilered A huge data breach of IDs on the day the law dropped is ironic. 🧵

Yeah the c gear taking up the whole bottom screen instead of useful tools or menus was weird. Having a few old mons earlier on for familiarity would have been nice too. A bit grindy but wins feel well earned and the story is pretty good. PMD is still the best story to me though
