I’m a sucker for Olly shading Qifrey from the sun b/c of his condition so I willll be drawing it whenever I can slap it in there haha

I know Qifrey canonically wears his glasses when he sleeps but I disagree with the sentiment lmfao

I originally intended for this to be set further in the future when the girls are already grown up and was popping by to visit but I had NO ideas for what anyone’s future outfits would be hence why it’s set post canon but not too far

Also I head canon that Olly snores like crazy, think booming dad snore but Qifrey treats it like white noise

Qifrey wakes up first and looks over at Olly drooling as he snores loudly.

“Olly~~” he calls out gently.

Olly continues snoring, not even a stir.

Qifrey smacks him lighting on the cheek with his finger tips. Smack smack smack. “It’s time to wake up!” Smack smack smack.

“Unghh,” Olly groans as he slowly blinks the sleep from his eyes.

“Good morning!”

He rubs his eyes, “Ain’t it past high noon?” Then reaches towards Qifrey, “There’s grass in your hair, hold still”

Olly meticulously removed the grass from Qifrey’s hair one by one. Meanwhile Qifrey picks up the strays and starts sticking them in Olly’s hair as he chuckles mischievously.

By the time they’re both finish Qifrey looks all prim and proper and Olly’s hair is a mess. He grabs Qifrey’s by the shoulders and Qifrey turns away and bends over in laughter, “Hey-“

The girls and walking downhill when they catch a glimpse of their teacher running away from Olly. He screams half heartedly as Olly eventually catches him, “Gotcha!” They hear him scream.

“I haven’t played tag in forever!” Tetia clasps her hands together as she reminisces.

“Agott let’s go join them!” Coco look up towards Agott with arms entwined.

“So childish,” Agott scoffs with no bite to her tone, she avoids eye contact as she tries to hide the blush forming on her face.

“I don’t think Qifrey-sensei is trying …” Richeh observes.

“Pwee ~” Brushbuddy stands on her shoulder nodding in agreement.

Qifrey, who is an art teacher, went to the infirmary because he was feeling sick. Olly is a designer who works in a shared building with the school so he popped by to visit

Olly: Aren’t you a teacher? Take care of yourself.
Qifrey coughs: Ollyyy

Olly gentle moves Qifrey’s hair away from his eyes

Alaira (gym teacher) walks by: Man it’s chilly

She hears a muffled conversation coming from the infirmary. Qifrey’s replies are non audible

Olly: I know it tastes bad but you need to swallow it
Olly: Come on, you can do it
Olly: Swallow swallow!
Olly: Ah don’t spit it out!

Young Qifrey is holding a dragon egg and is walking in a snowy field when he and his mom are attacked. He runs away towards the forest while she dies on the spot.

He might be around 4 here?

He and his family raise dragons to sell to other people. They’re kind of like traveling merchants.

Young Qifrey is hiding in the forest when the dragon egg hatches.

Approx 10 years since Qifrey’s family was attacked he and Olly wandered around together being taken in by random families. As they got older the help they received became more scares. Qifrey is thinking about his original dream and the thought makes him sad.

Qifrey: Olly…
Olly: What’s wrong?
Qifrey: they said I’ll never become a dragon rider… because of my eye.
Olly: That’s silly! You have me. You’re already dragon rider!

I drew this b/c I saw the novel illustration of the Knights Moralis undercover and I couldn’t let them out mog my couple 😤 Originally drew Olly w/ no facial hair just like the manga but it felt wrong so I put it back lmfao Undercover AU (1/2) #Orufrey
