It’s going to be a shocker if BBC Scotland is shut down… can you imagine big Stevie Thommo and Sportscene getting stuck on BBC Alba and him having to learn Gaelic…

For its 25th anniversary, I wrote about the GameCube - an underappreciated console that prompted unprecedented change within Nintendo. It was mocked at the time but it's remembered fondly now, an uncomplicated box of fun that appeared right when games were entering their 'performatively adult' stage

Small but mighty! Remembering the GameCube, Nintendo’s purple box of delights

The first console I ever bought, it was hyped as a threat to the PlayStation, then mocked as a flop. But now, as it marks its 25th anniversary, it’s looked back on with misty-eyed reverence

Hey @mackeza.bsky.social hello, I’ve started running a video game book club out of Rcade in Glasgow and I was wondering if you’d be interested in taking part in a show next year. Would it be ok to email your guardian email with more details or is there another preferred method of contact? Thanks.

Many people have asked: What's the best way to support authors? I have been told: leave reviews on Amazon/Audible/etc because that helps with visibility, and buy from actual bookshops (or bookshop.org) if you can 🙏 Here's Super Nintendo in Waterstones! (thanks @vivalahazy.bsky.social for the pic)
