last week i remembered that macOS lets you set your own icons and that *I* have the power to delegitimize the professionalism of the software that runs on my machine, so here's a thread of the 16 new icons i've made so far i really forgot how fun it was to just sit down and make art for myself :')

However letting some algorithm run your life takes away the joy of being human. Or just trusting an algorithm with everything. I sadly see too many students in my class just, use ChatGPT to help them with the most trivial thing that is literally one google search away, or 6th grade grammar.

Chat GPT and the sort is a very fine line. It's awesome when I need to do some quick programming shtick like filling a database with random pointless stuff for a test or making noise text that isn't supposed to be read anyway. Generative AI is great for making junk that isn't going to get attention.
