Thank you! I love tying to incorporate the design language of the furoshiki in to garments, using it to communicate that the garment isn't necessarily "mine" and is used to present things to others. That simplifies the idea and history but 300 words is 300 words

This is a pair of 1940's N&W 8oz selvedge overalls with a stunning set of original repairs that I have been able to further contribute to. It was repaired using all pre 1960's textiles including seed bags, a heavy canvas bag, and a really beautiful shop apron.

I am so stoked by the now very consistent flow of sashiko posts and other textile art work on here. It's been hard to do anything with the new administration but I took some pictures of some old projects again and hopefully it spurs me to do something. Details in the replies

I finally got ahold of my project that made me fall in love with this stitch pattern again, I love seeing the pattern develop as you lay down those final rows

Hey everyone! I am just getting settled in to the app, but as an intro, I am a huge vintage clothing and indigo textile enthusiast. You'll mostly see me post about my textile art that largely focuses around sashiko and mending/repairing. Always feel free to reach out to chat! :)
