Reasons why fujoshis like yaoi - I like men (straight, bi, gay) - I like men, but only secondhand through a narrative (lesbian, ace) - I like the tropes and interpersonal power dynamics common to M/M romance (in it for the drama) - I just do (fuck you we ball) Hope that helps. Happy pride month!

My Lord of Fortune Rook, Hakeem Laidir. A child on the same ship Isabela had to toss slaves from. He survived and joined the Lords where Isabela recognized him and took him under her wing. He is a seer with a Spirit of Compassion (coughs it's cole). I plan on romancing Emmrich with him. #dav

I wrote a fic about Spite wanting to eat candles. I propose, Lucanis has Pica, due to being held prisoner for a year & not fed well. Lucanis knows to ignore the urge; Spite doesn't. as this is Spite's first body. #datv archiveofourown.org/works/60817624

On 2nd & 3rd plays: I am feeling so seen with Taash for other reasons beyond NB to NB. the multicultural stuff is hitting so close to home. It's making me teary eyed. The pressure of assimilating vs the pressure of adhering to the culture your parents grew up with. #datv

I was fascinated with taking pictures of the other floating buildings in the Lighthouse. I wondered what rooms they could be, the potential if say... there were more people in the Lighthouse. #datv

from the bottom of my heart @trickweekes.bsky.social I just want to say thank you. thank you for Taash's entire arc. I don't know if it was you or not, but also thank you for the added dialogue choices for a NB Rook peppered around. I teared up. I've never felt so seen before in a AAA game.

I made this comment 2 months ago on a reddit thread asking "Realistically speaking, what do you guys think are the chances of us get to decide the fate of a certain bald elf in Veilguard?" and I fucking called it. Not even mentioning how on discord I was saying this since June. #datv #datvspoilers

I’m hoping we don’t decide. That regardless of how antagonist or not we were with him, he sacrifices himself. And it’s an end to his character and story. The only thing our interactions with him changes is just flavor text before he does it and maybe one extra mini side quest. If you’re positive with him, the moment is bittersweet between friends and maybe you have the chance to alert a friendly/romantic inquisitor who comes to say goodbye to him or convince him not to (it doesn’t work). Or if you were antagonistic he says something condescending and makes it seem like he’s taking the high road that even with someone he despises he’s still going to sacrifice himself not for you but for everyone else.

Something like that.

recalling that thread where @trickweekes.bsky.social explained how if they're going through the trouble of bringing back a character, they're gonna do something dramatic (read: tragic) w/them - aka the character is not safe. (I love it) #dragonage #datv

Neve: No but trust me, tragedy sells in Minrathous. More story? Better chance things go sideways.
