I posted this on twitter so i might as well share it here as well. A few years ago I tried to make a sorta tutorial on how I approached facial shapes. It's a little outdated and not even complete but maybe it'll help someone out #art

Also I sort of have a Vampire Savior board on the way (Photo from the supplier). Even though these are original Japan region ROMs I'm gonna swap them out with Euro region ROMs (also original) and slap them into a US region X-Men CPS2 case. God forgive me for I am about to sin yet again

So umm here is a new demon goat lady i am designing, truth is i've been working on and off on this for a few weeks because it takes me forever to design a new oc but i don't want to flood my account with fifa posting so here's a look into my design process #art #furryart

Sketch of demon goat lady i am naming "Zuzulu". The original thought process was "hmm what if a beat em up like slashout but with furry women" and came to an idea of a spunky demoness who speaks in shakespearian english and a soft spot for sweets who's been summoned to fight off some monsters. Why? Because the human she loves asked her to, in exchange for his heart! An age old tale of a man and the baddie he bagged with delicious cupcakes...

I DO plan to put clothes on her. She's not meant for the alt account. The rolling pin was just a last minute idea for the pose.

Various rough sketches, mostly trying to figure out heads. At first I wanted to lean hard into the goat-ness for her face but I decided to round out the face and shorten the snout to make her more feminine, I guess it also made her more cat-ish. Cat-goat...where have I heard that before?

Harboring hatred within our hearts only makes our other pursuits half-hearted. To draw furry women one must learn to forgive and find peace within and without

doodle of ceasefire if she didn't die in the 50s and through the power of evil macguffin energy lived on to move up from zealous revolutionary to tokusatsu big bad because I cannot for the life of me leave a good design hanging #art #furryart

Doodle of Ceasefire as an elderly woman wearing some fanciful garb.
Not a rewrite of the character, but an addition to her story. She somehow survived getting blown up (twice) in the 50s and is now a high ranking executive in MIRAGE, the organization that WHITE NOISE was simply a shell for.

So my little arcade collection is starting to grow. Over a month ago I got my hands on Sunset Riders, and now I also own Plasma Sword...

PCB for the arcade game Sunset Riders by Konami. This is a 4 player board, but there's actually no difference between the 2 and 4 player version aside from two ROM chips. You can totally swap them out to go from 4 players to 2 and vise versa, or even buy some blank chips and write the ROM data to them.

The 4 player version doesn't let you select a character in game, so unless you've already got a 4 player arcade setup with a set of harnesses for 3P and 4P, the 2 player version is pretty much a must for at home use.

I purchased some 2 player ROM chips and converted it after taking this photo. Of course, I'm also keeping the 4 player chips.

A PCB for Plasma Sword, the sequel to Capcom's Star Gladiator. This is the Asia region version of the game, but thankfully all the text and cut scenes are in English! It came all the way from South Korea. This is actually the cheapest board I've bought yet, and according to the game data it hasn't been played that much either! And on top of that, the previous owner has modified the board so that you can play this 4 button fighter without a kick harness.

GuileWinQuote already has a vid going over how great and underrated this game is, and the dreamcast port is also available in the recently released Capcom Fighting Collection 2. It's definitely worth checking out, there really isn't a 3D fighter that plays quite like this!

When I went to check out a regular fighting game meetup that happens in my area, I saw that people there preferred playing on real hardware when possible. It was actually the first time I ever saw CPS2 boards in person. So I then decided that I would try to nab a PCB that I could bring, something that was lesser known but also really fun to play. I think Plasma Sword fits that bill very nicely.

QSound magnets. Sticker mule was having a deal so why the hell not.

Magnet attached to my Vewlix. I placed some adhesive rubber on the magnet so it doesn't mar the panel.

This needs to be said: If you are doing business online, taking comms or whatever, you MUST be smart about it. Do not lower your guard just because a website says it's "safe". No screening system is without fault. READ THE LINK BEFORE YOU CLICK!!!

Someone recently shared that a client on vgen scammed them out of thousands of dollars. As unfortunate as this is, this could have been easily avoided if the artist simply compared the obviously fake domain name in the link the scammer provided to vgen's actual domain name. Don't be like them. Be smart!

Obviously vgen should do their part to mitigate scammers in their community. But their resources are not infinite, no system is perfect. At the end of the day, you are responsible for your own safety online.
