Okay! Ultima VII Revisited now has support for replacing existing NPCs and monsters with custom sprite sheets! As an example, I have replaced the Avatar with a sprite sheet of a villager from my game Planitia. Now we just need sprite sheets for every NPC. And monster.

One thing I've discovered doing research for my video is that Cyberpunk 2077 has pretty good object persistence...even though it kind of doesn't need it? V can carry an immense amount, and there's only one simple crafting system in the game, so hoarding isn't necessary.

I made sprites for Little Wars and I was not happy with them. I thought, "Why can't I get them to look like people from The Settlers?" And the answer is that Settlers are actually constructed from multiple layers based on what they are doing and what direction they are going.
