For some odd reason, a person thought they could extort me by screenshotting my Grindr album and threatening to send it to fam, friends and work. The thing is…I’m 44, been out for almost 20 years at this point and not ashamed to be a sexual being. So, I’ll just post it myself.

There’s a palpable excitement that builds when an idea moves from a nebulous form to something more tangible and attainable. Can’t talk too much, but things are taking shape, even amidst the chaos of the moment.

Okay. So, the final #marketdays plan is Brut tonight, Mafia tomorrow and Queen Sunday. Catch me outside!! #gaychicago

Some reflections ahead of #marketdayschicago. Last year, I had a lot of fomo bc I hadn’t built my #queer community yet. This year…very different. So, immense gratitude. See y’all outside!

I wanna engage on here, but I feel like I haven’t unlocked the way this place works. I still feel like I’m speaking into a void and then ultimately feel unmotivated to post here. Idk 🤷🏾‍♂️ how’s everyone else finding their way here?

I wouldn’t mind posting videos here, but that 60-second limit is hella limiting. I’ll keep my eye out, tho

A lot of folks can only imagine resistance in models that look like martyrdom and struggle. This leaves them stuck on the same strategies and tactics that may have worked at one time but are no longer viable. That just ain’t how me, my ancestors or my culture get down. But by all means, do you.

000

F*O*R*E*S*T @virgothots.bsky.social · 14/01/2025

It really feels like folks are making moves out of being reactionary, rather than having any sense of strategy or forethought. Needless to say, I’m gonna let folks pioneer this #rednote migration and see how it plays out with my popcorn.

So…I’m realizing how much I’ve gotten used to posting my thoughts in video format. BUT working an essay is slowly pushing me back into writing. Maybe I’ll engage here more, especially if the clock ban goes through. Le sigh

I mean…I’ll allow it. Though, I’m not sure it’s much of a transformation
