Good morning! There was a kitty on the front door cam.

A low resolution picture of a gray short hair cat. The cat is walking on a cement driveway. There is grass on the opposite side of the driveway.

16th book of 2026! 4.5⭐️'s!! Holy shit this book was good. I had a little trouble getting into the first half, but it really ramped up in the second half. If you want to read this, I recommend going into it completely blind. This one will be staying with me for a while.

You ever notice when one bad thing happens all the bad that has ever happened in your life comes rushing back? #poetry

Blood Magick

Cause now I realize I am just like roadkill
All smashed bones and smeared organs
It's okay! It's okay! It's okay!
A pitiful look from the passing minivan
I look at myself that way too
It's always been a give and take
And real magick requires sacrifice
A tooth?
An arm?
How bout my pancreas?
I give, you take
Is that correct?

What I ate at the restaurant, btw. It was yummy 😋 but I couldn't finish it, lol

Ramen with seaweed, a soft boiled egg, bean sprouts, green onions, and slices of pork belly. It has a creamy broth. The bowl its in is black and has a big wooden spoon.

The best man in the world who literally everyone loves. I love him so much, the best 9 years of my life. Idc if he's an alter and not physically here. It doesn't matter what anyone else thinks, it's just us

14th book of 2026! 3.5 ⭐️'s! I wanted to read the light novels of this series, but I don't think they've ever been translated to english, unfortunately. I got the first 5 manga ebooks on sale, though! It was not the best I've ever read but pretty enjoyable! Cute art, too.

A poem about dogs(figurative) who love each other(sometimes). #poetry

All Dogs Go To Heaven
I won't remember you in 5 10 20 years,
Hoping I'll move on even as I write this.
How many days can a human live without food?
What about water and air?
I forgot, please help me.
Prove me wrong.
Prove that you're different, I'm begging at this point.
I will get on hands and knees,
I will lick your boots like the dog I am.
All for you to be different this time.
"Your little bird told me,"
"A dog can only be hit so many times before biting back."
62 stab wounds and a kiss on the lips.
I am still loyal, I promise.

I solved my journal buying problem for a long while. A big ass binder with a shit ton of loose leaf paper! And the best thing about it is I didn't have to buy anything! We already had it in the house from when my brother and I were in school.

A picture of half of a black school binder with 3 silver rings and a stack of college ruled loose leaf paper. It's being used as a journal. The first page is dated 9/8/26, and a journal entry is written in black ink. A silver and black pen is under the writing.
