updated #agentsguide for Creature Choreography :) featuring vibes of Phantasma + TrueBlood meets Dancing with the Stars & low-stakes fantasy of A Witch's Guide to Fake Dating a Demon. #querying #queryingauthor #writingcommunity

An agent's guide to Creature Choreography, now querying, 74,000 word standalone adult paranormal romance, by Violet Galante

a thirty-something out of work dryad actress joins a reality dance competition that pairs human dancers with mythical creatures as a final attempt to make money to support her family, only for eliminated contestants to start being murdered; turning the stakes form not just competition for the prize money but fighting for her life. Phantasma + True Blood meets Dancing with the Stars

Tropes and Details: Forced Proximity, Dryad FMC, Vampire Hunter, Magical Creatures out hiding in our world, killer is a Siren, Dance competition, hot sassy Russian man, murder mystery.

"Do you trust me?"
"Yes," I whispered. He was the only person i trusted in this entire building.
"Follow my lead."
It was time for us to go out, time for the competition to begin. Our dance this week was more like a battle, a fight for dominance between the two of us. It was my favorite style of dance so far, my favorite to watch as well in the hours I consumed past seasons of the original show. Anton was vicious, and despite everything, I felt like I had the claws and fangs to be vicious right back. He chased after me, we clashed together, we spun and spun until I couldn't breathe. And every time our bodies came together, Anton toughed more, his hands roaming like they never had. My skin was flushed scarlet, my face set in a hard expression as the dance required, my insides on fire. Every caress of my face, every dance of fingers down my spine, every time he gripped my hips more than the dance required, the crowd roared.
Performance, my mind chanted as his lips skimmed my forehead. Performance, my frazzled brain pleaded as his fingers dug into my side. Performance, I lied to myself as we stopped in the center of the room, our lips so close one twitch of my spine and they would be fused together. Performance, I conceded as his mouth trailed along my cheek until he whispered in my ear "good girl," before pulling away to face the judges.
