Tomorrow will be getting my website updated and making my YouTube account match that theme - bare minimum won’t cut it for long

Sending out a few inquiries for art prints today, anyone have tips for picking a studio to work with?

I can already feel myself going through some withdrawals, and sleeping will be so hard without the doom scroll right before 😔

In the process of covering up a painting that I started last year and immediately hated. That one was another cover up to a different painting that I hated even more! I love the chaos of sketching over old work because I am free of the shackles of perfection :) #dragon #acrylic #painting

Why am I just now finding out Blender is free. I’ve been wandering about, thinking I should learn it for YEARS and I could have been doing that this whole time!

Started playing Infinity Nikki the other day and it’s everything I could have ever wanted in a video game! But… there should be more dragons imo

Going home for the holidays was chaotic, but at least I got some inspiration for new art out of it.

His bark is worse than his bite…he will still bite, though 🌹 #art #digitalart #dragon #rose #cute

A small green dragon attempts to make itself look like a threat…it’s too cute to be very effective though

An update to this piece! The clouds need to be more blue I think, but as long as I survive the ugly stage then this will get finished #dragon #art #painting #murtagh #thorn #eragon

I love the greenery aspect to this piece, like a gently falling leaf in autumn or a pumpkin vine unfurling

Krita is such an underrated program. Your work is amazing!

Starting on a painting of #Murtagh and #Thorn from the Inheritance Cycle! This one is based on a scene following the main events of the series, where the dragon and rider are camping out in the Spine. Also trying out some new techniques and paints this time as I scale up the quality of my work.

A canvas is painted in a light wash of brown. A faint sketch of a dragon laying down is visible.

$Griffin stands on the roof of a building with its wings spread. The street below fractures off between other buildings. Mountains and storm clouds rise in the distance. The roofs and distant mountains are colored purple.$ Several imposing chairs are placed around a pond in the center of a stone room. Dark halls are carved into the mountain beyond, with a glass ceiling above showing a tranquil landscape.

Mission complete: release the dragon!

In this follow up to the quote reposted illustration, the two kids who captured the baby dragon have patched its wing with some sort of blue, flexible material. The dragon is bigger now, and looks healthy. It emerges from a dog kennel in a junkyard car lot clearing. The two kids are perched on a broken down yellow taxi and look on proudly as the dragon stretches its repaired wings

Another dragon from the same series as the last! I feel like my best creations come from humble beginnings, like how this dragon was born from a regular ball point pen and a random page from a sketch book I’ve had since 5th grade. Anyone else experience this? #art #drawing #sketch #dragon

Sea dragon curls around a person sinking into the dark water. Sunlight streams down from above, reflected in the dragon’s eye.

Hello! I’m Ivy, a dragon artist here on Blue Sky! Most of my work is acrylic paintings but I have some random drawings too. This one was made using a ball point pen!

Pen drawing of a girl holding her face in her hands with one eye looking out. A dragon looms in the background with its mouth open next to the girl’s head.
