A soft chuckle left him, flicking the fire until it died. Pinching the cigarette between his fingers, he pulled it from his lips in an exhale. “Perhaps you have. I have written titles like ‘No Longer Human’ and ‘The Setting Sun’…” he lists off a couple of his most popular books.
