My club (VRG) is running an event at Watkins Glen this weekend. I usually attend but not this year (I set up the original deal to rent The Glen). But my old pal Bill is there so I'm re-posting his shots Bill's website: billstoler.com #weirdcars #carbluesky #weirdcarbs #classiccars #carphotography

I skipped Goodwood due to my stenosis. But 7 of my friends went and had a great time. Talked to 3 of them last night on Zoom. Here's some pix they took. I hope to get back to the Revival next year. #weirdcars #carbluesky #weirdcarbs #classiccars #carphotography

Every year my friends try to talk me into running the Put-in-Bay races. The races are held on a quaint airport circuit on an island in Lk. Erie It's a 10-hour tow for me. Too far. But my pal Bill went this year & shot some nice photos #weirdcars #carbluesky #weirdcarbs #classiccars #carphotography

A few more shots from Lime Rock on Labor Day. This was a weekend that focused on ALFAs but it was still shocking to see 3 Sprint Specials (one parked in general parking with all the ordinary cars). #weirdcars #carbluesky #weirdcarbs #classiccars #carphotography

White ALFA Sprint Special parked in general parking lot. It had a for sale sign on it too.

Yellow ALFA Spider. I forget which model this is. Maybe a 916...not sure

I've raced this red ALFA coupe many times. Wonderful car

I usually race at the Lime Rock Labor Day race, but not this year. My spinal stenosis is flaring up. I'm also skipping Goodwood (ends today) & the VRG historic race at Watkins Glen next week. But here's my Lime Rock photos (captioned) #weirdcars #carbluesky #weirdcarbs #classiccars #carphotography

Nice white Jag 3.8 saloon with wire wheels (@ Lime Rock)

Red ALFA sports racer from about 1964. A T33 I think

Hegseth is supposed to be busy fighting a war. The Secretary of the Army told Trump yesterday that the US is losing the war. The Secretary also announced he's resigning, clearly fed up with Hegseth's firing of 20+ military leaders for no express reason Kinzinger is right. ProundCanRobz is too

Off to Lime Rock Historics this weekend. But spectating & not racing. My spinal stenosis is flaring up so I got an epidural shot yesterday. No racing for a week. Next is LR in 3 weeks. Track compted me 2 weekend passes ($360) Not bad! #weirdcars #carbluesky #weirdcarbs #classiccars #carphotography

Classic silver ALFA sedan, two Minis, my blue Austin A35 and Lotus Cortina waaay back. I think this is Sept. 2023

Red Ferrari 308 GTS (like the one in Magnum PI TV show)

Silver Jaguar E-types. This is the Donovan Team...these are always fast cars but a bit aggressive for historic racing

Land Rover and MB G-wagon. The paddock at Lime Rock always has interesting things in it

Great time racing at the PVGP Long & early day racing yesterday & finally got the car in the trailer around 5:00 PM...*then* drove home 7 hours. I'm beat today Here's some snaps my pal Bill S. took I raced on 3 of the last 4 weekends 😛 #weirdcars #carbluesky #weirdcarbs #classiccars #carphotography

White "Canada Special" with Lotus Elan frame, MG Midget drivetrain (1275) and bespoke one-off body.

Both of the TDs broke. The red one was just rebuilt after a hard crash last year. The Spitfire came in 3rd in small-bore class (I think)

I'm not sure if this is a real E-type LightWeight or a clone. Very nice car and well-driven

Me in a scrum mid-pack. White Anglia, silver Sprite, green MG Midget (me) and red Mini. I think there's another car right behind me but I can tell what it is.
