Totally forgot this app was a thing but good news cancer treatment is over radiotherapy done and today is my first mammogram since my cancer diagnosis

Yeah it’s also if it’s available for my trust we do play a post code lottery with the NHS unfortunately but I’m sure they will figure something out but I’ll be pushing not to go back to EC because that’s had me really rough and I’ve lost a lot of stamina.

I don’t know until I see my oncologist on the 10th I have other health conditions they have to take into consideration with what chemo they use.

So chemo yesterday wasn’t fun. I moved onto paclitaxel which should have been my easy after EC, well I had an allergic reaction so I had every nurse and a doctor on my chemo unit around my bed within 2 mins of me pressing my call bell so unofficial break while my oncologist comes up with a new plan

I was diagnosed at 33 but it was only a month before my birthday lol had my masectomy 3 days before my birthday. Honestly I couldn't have done a lumpectomy I needed the traitor tit off my body and I didn't go for reconstruction and thinking of not and just staying part of the single titty committee

Yeah single masectomy and went back for auxilla clearance as it had spread fo my lymphnodes. They want me to do all the things to reduce my recurrence risk becuase of my age mainly becuase I'm 34 so my teams wanting to throw rhe book at me in hopes of never seeing me for breast cancer again

I'm negative I'm just estrogen and progesterone receptive so will be going on tamoxifen once I finish chemo. My team won't say I'm cancer free yet but they have said I'm essentially mass free now and chemo and radio is to make sure we got all the cells

When you start chemo your given so many numbers to call if you need them and it's so confusing on what to call when so I've spent alot of this afternoon on the phone. Im all good but my picc line is red and itchy so after all the calls I got myself a round of antibiotics

Yeah it is. Thank you I've about 10 weeks until the end of chemo so radio is a little while off and they may have to give me abit of time with my physio where I don't feel rough so I can get my arm higher but haven't met that team yet

Yeah issy the spaniel has done the same a few times to us, she's not with us anymore bless her. My lad however can't stand water so I'm in no danger there. Oh you really aren't far across the boarder from me.

Yeah left arm from surgery for me so trying to do physio becuase I've radiotherapy after chemo and need to get my arms above my head and left arm says hell no 🤣. Yeah my scars giving me pain at the moment which is weird becuase it's also numb

We had a spaniel cross who loved to swim she only got chance once to jump in the canal, we kept her on lead after that becuase it was abit scary the streatch we walk down is busy becuase of the aqueduct

I had a single masectomy in May didn't have reconstruction but have the muscle needed if I decide to in the future but honestly loving being flat and won't be going for reconstruction

Same with breast cancer, my breast clinic are seeing far more people in their early 30s now then ever before and we are to young for regular screening in the UK so if your the possessor of a chest check your chest

Wondering if any of the cancer community I found on threads is also over here? I have breast cancer invasive ductal carcinoma grade 2 stage 2 BRCA negative estrogen and progesterone receptive. Currently having chemo therapy with 9 rounds left to go before radio #cansky #breastcancer #cancersucks
