Our little boy is out at a new vets office, getting ready to get his bladder stones removed and getting a new urethra put in. The sad and realistic thing is now to figure how to handle things financially, cause boy howdy this lil dude is expensive.

Heard back from the vet, our little man has to have surgery as he has stones in his bladder, he also has a liver shunt, so they’re possibly going to try and fix both at the same time. We got to see him and we brought him a blanket and he was being so silly and cute with his cone on.

So the reason for the visit is our little boy couldn't pee. We caught it super early, and after the blood test they ran, there was no increased values in what they normally see in when a cat can't pee. They got a catheter in and he's going good, they did an ultrasound and we should hear back soon.

I don’t know the last time I cried this hard. I feel like such a horrible parent for leaving my cat at the emergency vet, I know it’s the best thing for them and they’re going to take care of him but I just feel like I shouldn’t have left him. I should’ve stayed with him.
