Ellery, Callisto, and Kundura are all three on a date together in a diner in a Modern AU. Callisto is learning across the table from Ellery and using his fork to prod Ellery’s puffy nipples through his shirt. Kundura is watching perversely. Nobody notices them in the restaurant. Ellery is very flustered.

The lore here is the ghouls dragged Ellery out of bed to play a little game they call glaze the cakes: they all try to get their sugar on his cakes, and whoever glazes him the most, gets to eat the cakes. Ellery is a pale trans teen with raven black hair with blunt fringe and longer side pieces framing his face, a black sweater vest and white button up short sleeved shirt. Callisto is a handsome necromancer with a tight, muscular bod, pale skin that’s kind of translucent to the point of appearing blue or grey, raven black hair falling before his eyes and down his nape, and a moth-eaten gauze shirt.

In the first panel, Ellery is gripping the hay on the ground with his hands. Callisto is running his palms up and down Ellery’s sides as if he owns the boy. Outwardly, Ellery gasps at the contact of Callisto’s cold hands on his hot skin. Ellery’s ears and the back of his neck are flushed pink and he’s gritting his teeth in terror and indignation. There are maggots on the ground nearby, from the ineffective injury Ellery gave Callisto, who is an undead lich with regenerative shapeshifter abilities. Ellery’s internal monologue says “I just wanted to have a girlfriend…” which might seem a little glib but he’s a teenager having a horrible day and he’s allowed to want basic things like companionship.
In the second panel, Callisto has leaned in, his chiseled nose imposing and almost wolffish, and his cool purple lips wryly pulled back in a smile. He whispers directly into Ellery’s seashell pink ear: “I’m your girlfriend now.”
