Vinn @vinnhans.bsky.social · 28/03/2026Oh and as for the name, it's a reference to my original Pokemon username ArceusGaga back in 2009. I remember finding the name combo funny back then and now it haunts me like a grim specter 000
Vinn @vinnhans.bsky.social · 28/03/2026I'd work on this hunt while traveling so I didn't keep a tally until 3 months ago where I decided to start at 1,500. Seeing how many encounters I got per hour tells me this was HORRIBLY under estimated 100
Vinn @vinnhans.bsky.social · 28/03/2026This Arceus hunt started shortly after got the Phione on my cruise last year and has been an on again/off again hunt l'd come back to every now and then. 100

Vinn @vinnhans.bsky.social · 28/11/2025And yes I did make sure to get doubles to have a complete set for both Pumpkaboo & Gourgeist. Now I have 48 pumpkins of varying sizes and like 20+ shinies. 000
Vinn @vinnhans.bsky.social · 28/11/2025"Now that I have all their Alphas I can hunt for all their sizes! How long could this take, this weekend, a day or 2 more maybe?" 31 days. The answer was 31 days. #Pokemon #PokemonLegendsZA #Pumpkaboo #Gourgeist 150
Vinn @vinnhans.bsky.social · 29/10/2025Hope this helps cut down hours of wasted time on your hunts, and good luck! 000
Vinn @vinnhans.bsky.social · 29/10/20255. The static alpha Gourgeist can only ever be a medium variety. It doesn't matter what time of day you see it nor if it's in Wild Zone 15 or 20. If you want the full set you'll need to hunt the other 3 as Pumpkaboos first 110
Vinn @vinnhans.bsky.social · 29/10/20254. The forms are time locked. Small & Medium only show in the morning, Large & Jumbo only at night. It's also not 50 : 50 spawns, Small & Jumbo are 5% encounters for their respective times of day. 100
Vinn @vinnhans.bsky.social · 29/10/20253. (Cont.) Also, since I guess not everyone was around when they first appeared, but prior to Legends Arceus the Pumpkaboo line were the only ones to have any visual size variations. This is (probably) why their form names were changed in ZA from "sizes" to "varieties" 100
Vinn @vinnhans.bsky.social · 29/10/20253. The size marks you do see on the summary screen don't indicate which variety you have, as you can see in the above pics all the alphas have their size as XL regardless of the variety. 100
Vinn @vinnhans.bsky.social · 29/10/20252. It is damn near impossible to tell which alpha Pumpkaboo you have by just looking at it & the summary screen doesn't label which one you have However you CAN tell which one you have as the image for the summary screen is consistent with their non alpha sizes (seen above) 100
Vinn @vinnhans.bsky.social · 29/10/2025PSA for anyone looking to shiny/alpha hunt the Pumpkaboo line in #LegendsZA (To help save you a whole lot of time): 1. Each of their 4 varieties (Small, Medium, Large, &Jumbo) have their own Alpha, it isn't just 1 for Pumpkaboo and 1 for Gourgeist. 121
Vinn @vinnhans.bsky.social · 28/10/2025You have no idea how happy I was this only took 1 phase 🥲 #LegendsZA #ShinyPokemon #Drampa 010
