Last 48 hours of the Kickstarter campaign for #hardcover2025 - and final chance to grab the Retro edition, with extra 112 pages! My last preview from the book: "Trickster". I think my favorite out of the 3 pieces I was lucky to have featured. #hardcoverbooks are a project by @hardcoverart.com

Some extra crops and sketch. Overworking lines and details is a relaxing guilty pleasure of mine ;)

I had the pleasure of working on 3 pieces for the new #hardcover2025 edition by @hardcoverart.com! Full of uncensored art by fantastic artists, this year's theme is RETRO. Which rocks, as I wanted to pay homage to #burlesque vibes. Just crops here for obvious reasons — more to come! :)

Thank you, I really appreciate it! ♥️ I thought I kinda overworked it and was afraid it felt too “plastic” in the end 😅

♥️ Thanks again! Sorry for the lag, we had a personal emergency and I was out of social media for a few days. But honestly, your designs and style are reallllly inspiring! 🌟

Wow, thank you so much for this reaction! Made my evening after a lousy day ♥️♥️♥️ I personally call it “overdetailing and never knowing when to stop” 🙃 I’m so happy you like it! ✨

Final vs #sketch vs clean #lineart - at first I wanted lineart to be more visible and color shading rather flat in the final piece, but got carried away with lips and makeup, and the rest followed 😅

#procreatetimelapse - lots of changes in this one, lots of time spent on a few versions of lineart, couldn’t decide how the bird(s) should look, changed her outfit and background idea a few times. I’ll upload longer version to YT later, but quick one here works better. I think?

Angeliz, a cyberpunk witch, @kjetll.bsky.social’s character for #kjetll07dtiys. Gotta say I *love* her design, and it was great to revisit goth vibes and come back to my roots 😎 Gotta do this more often. More info, sketches and #artprocess below. #dtiys #drawthisinyourstyle

Thank you for hosting! I’m still learning things here, so I hope I’m not replying in the wrong place 😅 A mix of my older pieces, from 2010 - 2020 or so.

Oh, I love it! I plan to post here some #ArtInspiration and #ArtResources - so tagging it in case someone will browse the future posts by these, looking for more. Fantastic project! ♥️

Fun bit of trivia - I quickly fixed the eyes in this version. You can see on previous photos I’ve drawn them blue and brown. I only later learnt how and why his eyes really looked ;) Not important. The Dreamers are important! ✨

It’s David Bowie’s birthday! And also my Grandma’s. He passed away in 2016, and she in 2022. I miss them both for various reasons, they were great inspirations. Throwback to an old piece I’ve drawn then. Traditional #coloredpencils - I really miss having time to explore this medium more.

2016 portrait of David Bowie drawn with Faber Castell Polychromos colored pencils.

Making of pictures and a photo of a finished piece. Crappy camera back then, so crappy quality ;)

#procreatetimelapse - mostly one brush + symmetrical perspective tool for background drawing

Happy New Year! 🎉 I think this one’s finished. Definitely spent a bit too much time detailing, but it is a guilty pleasure of mine ;) #artnouveau #steampunk #poster #illustration #procreateart #artprocess in the comment, sketches in older posts :)

Almost there, but not yet. Now onto final polish. Uploading another preview, so there’s a whole process here, in one thread ;)

Went with neon, still a work in progress. Surprisingly going for flat colors but with more texture and gradient is tricky. I keep changing a lot, repainting small details of the lineart too. The face on that oversaturated background will be interesting to polish ;) But I like hard contrasts.

Gracjana Zielinska @vinegaria.bsky.social · 28/12/2024

Colours are gonna be tricky for this one.. Can’t decide between very vintage or a with a hint of something neon popping out 🤔

Instead of first proper Christmas with our daughter - we’re fighting some hardcore flu. All of us. So I’ve been working on finishing this #artnouveau / #steampunk inspired #lineart that I dug out in my files. Tweaking detailed lines calms me, actually. It really is overworked though ;)

I hope so! I already started the sketch and I’m having lots of fun, but want to do her justice ;)

#procreatetimelapse - 30 seconds, as the limit is 60. Gotta upload all of these at full length to YT, I guess! Still learning things here ;) Hope you’ll like it though ✨

I thought my first #art post here could be the last one from these series. Muted pastel peonies, from 2 years back. Final + clean #lineart, drawn in #procreate and #artprocess in the comment. Still not sure what is the etiquette of posting on Bsky. Should the timelapse be a new post or a comment?

First post on Bluesky, so hello! I always forget to post one of these, so instead of a 2024 recap - a selection from my Flowers series, from a few years back - as I still like the details and where I went with the stylization ;) Nice to see you here! ✨ #artvsartist #artvsartist2024
