For too long, people with Long COVID and ME/CFS have struggled to find clinicians who understand their conditions. Many sacrifice precious energy travelling to appointments only to find limited expertise, while others are left trying to manage incredibly complex illnesses on their own.

ME/CFS has some of the lowest quality-of-life scores of any chronic illness studied (Hvidberg 2015). On the SF-36 it scores ~27 vs cancer ~41. A physiological illness this disabling should be taken seriously. For too long it hasn't been. Chart: CrunchME, CC BY 4.0
